Job Description

·      To attend all incoming or outgoing call appropriately and courteously

·      Maintain our file system,

·      To handle general administration duties i.e., paperwork, filling, preparation of invoice, courier service, handling forwarding. 

.      Excellent computer skills especially typing.

·      Maintain and update filing, mailing, stationary items and documentation

·      Ensure that the daily filing of records and documents are completed.

·      To perform all the admin and assist general administrative works time to time.

·      Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines.

.      Should be able to handle the office independently.

Requirement:

·        Candidates possess at least SPM

·        Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply

This position is based in Western Digital Tech and Regional Center (M), which is a Center of Excellence located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. It is currently only open to Malaysian as there is limitation of expatriate hiring in the guideline. 

What You Will Do 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Be part of the development team that validate and deliver quality firmware for Enterprise data storage products. 
• Learn and understand complex technical hard drive specifications and apply that knowledge to enhance test suite and test processes. 
• Executed regression and end-to-end scenario test cases to validate business, system and operational requirements. 
• Develop software tools to improve test processes. 
• Proactively seize for test suite quality improvement plans with data analytic approach. 
• Devise strategies for in-depth functionality and compatibility testing of complex drive features. 
• Collaborate with Test Dev engineers, Firmware Engineers and other functional teams, independently in issue resolutions. 
• Familiar with using Protocol Analyzers to understand and analyze traces for failure investigation. 

• Design, develop, test, integrate and maintain test scripts using Python to validate WD eHDD firmware and hardware features to ensure WD product meets the quality specifications using best practices like unit test, CI and Agile methodologies. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to discern, strategize, and synchronize creative methods for testing firmware functionality.
• Customize test suites to align with evolving customer and firmware requirements, as well as future architectural demands.
• Contribute to failure analysis efforts aimed at enhancing firmware quality robustness.
• Collaborate on the development and refinement of internal processes to enhance overall efficiency and performance.
• Participate in Scrum & Agile processes to strategically plan, execute, and coordinate the team's activities.
• Deliver cutting-edge storage products with SAS, SATA, PCIE interfaces.
