Position Overview

Parsons is seeking an Electrical Engineer with medium and low voltage power distribution design experience on industrial facility projects, chemical plants and refineries.  Willingness to travel periodically to other Parsons’ offices, clients’ offices, supplier facilities, and project site locations is expected.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop Electrical deliverables for all phases of a project including: conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design.
• Develop the design of medium and low voltage facility power distribution systems from the electric utility interface point.
• Develop the design of emergency and uninterruptable power generation and distribution systems.
• Develop the design of miscellaneous Electrical systems such as lighting, grounding, electrical heat tracing, fire alarm, public address, security, card access, etc.
• Develop typical Electrical engineering and design drawings such as: single line diagrams; power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and other systems plans; electrical area classification plans; electrical equipment arrangement plans; cable tray layout plans and sections; conduit and cable schedules; motor control schematics.
• Develop typical Electrical specifications such as: electrical equipment (MV/LV switchgear, MCC’s, power transformers, standby/backup generators, UPSs, etc.); electrical installation – general requirements, testing, and commodities
• Develop typical Electrical databases/spreadsheets such as: motor and electrical load lists; panel schedules.
• Develop typical Electrical calculations such as: load flow studies; voltage drop calculations; lighting calculations; short circuit and protective device coordination analyses; arc flash calculations and label creation.
• Participate in the development of Electrical engineering and design effort hour estimates, material takeoffs, and construction cost estimates.
• Participate in development of engineering proposals.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• US citizenship is required.
• 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience with designing power distribution systems for industrial facilities.
• 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required with ability to obtain licensure in Texas.
• Knowledge of Electrical engineering and design practices including drawings, specifications, codes, building materials and costs, and construction techniques.
• Working knowledge of applicable electrical power system analysis software packages such as ETAP, EDSA, and/or SKM.
• Working knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and applicable Electrical Codes as well as applicable Industry Codes and Standards (e.g. IEC, ANSI, IEEE, ISA).
• Experience leading a team of engineers and designers related to electrical scope.
• Experience in facility medium and low voltage power distribution system design and the preparation of Electrical equipment and systems procurement and installation specifications.
• Experience in emergency and uninterruptable power generation and distribution systems design and the preparation of associated Electrical equipment, procurement, and installation specifications.
• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team of engineers and designers on multiple, concurrently executed projects.

The Manager, Strategic Sourcing, IT will join a team of others reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, IT. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing projects spanning the entire strategic sourcing process for Loblaw’s Technology and Analytics (LTA) department. Accountabilities will include procurement strategy development and strategic sourcing, business stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, contract administration and negotiation (with contract manager and legal counsel support), vendor performance and relationship management, cost management and target savings realization, business process optimization, and administration as needed.
 

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for the LTA category consistent with department and overall enterprise procurement objectives
• Engage and influence internal stakeholders and vendors to identify opportunities, drive value, leverage market insights, improve processes, implement efficiencies, improve TCO of category products and services, and address vendor performance
• Deliver financial and commercial business cases by managing sophisticated financial analysis, data compilation, and business case development, taking into consideration currency fluctuations, payment terms, and alternative financial cost scenarios

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

We\\'re recruiting for Class 2 drivers to join our Transport Team at our Booker Retail Partner site. In this position, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of stock to our independent retailers stores.

Our Class 2 jobs do require handball and manual work which can be a physically demanding. This includes working outside in adverse weather conditions ad handballing product at some of the delivery points.

Class 2 Licence Holder

Driver CPC Holder

Ability to deliver excellent customer service

Experience of multi-drop; temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential

Available to work 45 hours a week (overtime available)

Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (including at short notice)
