Job Responsibilities

· Supports the Singapore Financial Controller and will be the main finance business partner to the assigned operational Business Units.

Overall Job Purpose:

• Handle the core banking system’s and payment system’s various test phases : regression tests, integration tests, functional tests, test automation
• Good Knowledge and working experience of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
• Define functional test scenarios for core banking and payment systems
• Overall responsible for ensuring User acceptance testing for all the streams.
• Maintain up to date test libraries (test scenarios, test cases)
• Working with SIT & UAT Testing Team, reviewing, testing scenarios, test cases and helping developers and testers in clearing their doubts about the requirements etc.
• Recording defects utilizing defect tracking tool with priority and severity and alert the management
• Manage planning, communicate with stakeholders
• Prepare regular reports on test results
• Supporting the business users for User Acceptance Testing
• Supporting Operations team / Business Users team to complete the testing
• Managing testing at times when required and found the issues / testing not closing or moving as expected
• Lead Defect Management related actives

Qualifications and Profile

The position requires a minimum of 5 years relevant business analyst/tester experience with Payment systems and Core Banking applications.

Functional

• Good knowledge in Payment area like interaction with Clearing, payment file format ISO20022, SEPA and SWIFT. Hands-on experience with such data mapping and testing.
• Hands on experience on payment systems and exposure to Payments Hub, Clearing and Settlement, Automated clearing house programs and channels.
• Extensive knowledge on various kinds of payment products such as TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheque, DD, Cashier Order, Mass & Bulk payments.
• Proficient in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional & System Integration testing of banking and financial applications
• Experience in following areas is a plus: Retail Banking, Wholesale & Corporate Banking, Corporate commercial Payments, International & Domestic Payments, Payment Hub/Factory, Correspondent Banking, ACH, Real Time Payments, Cash & Liquidity Management, Compliance/AML, FX, Messaging (Swift and ISO) & Trade Finance

Position

In a challenging and multicultural environment, we seek a Business Analyst / QA to join our Core Banking IT department which is in charge of developing and maintaining the International Back Office Cash Management System of CACIB. This information system is deployed in 25 business units all around the world. The system has multiple modules to manage reference data, commercial back office functions (payments, remittances, loans, deposits, guarantees, letters of credit …), accounting, management control and credit risk monitoring. The system caters to local regulatory reporting needs and head office reporting, based on a data warehouse.

The candidate will be in charge of analyzing the requirements, writing specifications & test scenarios/cases, maintaining and building the payment system of the bank. The role will focus primarily on functional analysis and quality assurance of the build and delivery required for the evolutions of the in-house or vendor’s solution.

Main responsibilities

• Executing Business Analysis best practices and Engagement of Stakeholders across Front-to-Back functions.
• Responsible for all analysis of functional requirements arising from the requirements of business stakeholders, business users and technology.
• Multi-tasking: Work in Agile – Scrum environment as a BA & QA. Should be able to refine/groom future stories & perform BA tests within the sprint time-box.
• Managing the requirements and provide design options for the solutions available and guide the team.
• Evaluation of alternative IT solutions and provide appropriate recommendations.

Summary

What you'll do

• Handle all technical product related tasks and functions from design concept to sample approval processes
• Provide technical advice to supplier, review and approve the product
• Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure the standard
• Development and maintain technical manuals and standards
• Create measurement charts
• Check fitting on dummies / live models
• Check and amend paper pattern, collect and store digital pattern after approval in the system
• Translate design brief into technical product specification including grading to different measurements
• Measure samples
• Check appearance before and after wash (if applicable)
• Comment pre-production samples and create reports to supplier
• Check workmanship and give recommendations on how to improve the workmanship
• Update all company systems and lists related to above tasks on a daily basis
• Act as mentor for new joiners
• Support and guide Garment Technicians and Junior Garment Technicians with experienced knowledge if needed

What you'll need

• Minimum of 3 - 4 years of work experience in technical role in the garment industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required in from Polytechnic uni or IVE graduate in Textile or related studies
• Fluency in English is required
• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese an advantage (but not prerequisite) to liaise with Mandarin and/or Cantonese speaking only stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office required
• Technical competence to do fitting, technical assessment and pattern adjustment
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, garment technical testing and raw materials
