This exciting full-time position is available from September 2024 on a fixed term contract for the next academic year and offers the opportunity for a committed and innovative graduate, or sports undergraduate looking for a third-year placement, or a sports coach, to join our successful Sports Department.
We pride ourselves on the way in which we educate and support all our boys. You will assist the Sports Department in the delivery of sports and PE, coaching boys, managing and maintaining teaching resources, updating assessment data and assisting with extra-curricular sporting activities and clubs. You will be required to drive our school minibus to transport boys to and from fixtures as well as our sports ground; a full UK driving licence is therefore essential. Coaching and umpiring experience in one of our key sports – football, rugby or cricket would be helpful.
This role is ideal for a graduate or an undergraduate, who is considering a career in teaching, or a coach looking to develop their skills in a school environment. You will need to be available on Saturday mornings to support fixtures.

We are looking for a full time Sports Coach, dedicated to conduct Fitness private and group sessions. Another sport would be desired as well (Tennis, Yoga, Swimming, Ballet, Boxing...)

Sports Coach & Cover Supervisor - Required to start 1st September 2024, 5 days per week, full time, term time only 8.30 am – 3.45 pm – Monday to Friday, 1 INSET day in September. Salary: Point 12 – 14 actual salary: £22,700.28 - £23,484.71 / FTE £26,421- £27,334. The Balcarras Trust are looking to appoint an excellent Sports Coach and Cover Supervisor. The role will be to coach and oversee the fixtures for two weekly extra curricular sports clubs at the school to a high standard. Additionally, the role will be to cover lessons across the school whenever a teacher is absent as directed by the cover manager or senior teacher in charge of cover. Class cover will involve implementing work programmes, managing pupil behaviour and assisting pupils in the relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures. Application

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, review, execute & monitor safe and effective training programs to assist members in achieving their individual fitness goals
• Responsible for designing new fitness programs
• Conduct periodic fitness assessments to members
• Monitor and ensure members safety and effective use of equipment
• Ensure equipment are kept up to standard for effective, safe, and clean usage
• Achieve monthly sales and service targets
• Ensure daily operational flow of the personal training department

Requirements:

• Must possess proven experience as a Personal Trainer for a minimum of 1 year.
• Must possess ACE certification or equivalent.
• Must provide referrals from the previous employer
• Sales orientated with good interpersonal skills are essential

Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
