Role: Educational Manager

Position Overview: As an Educational Manager at Tactile Learning, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the educational and administrative operations within our Registered Training Organization (RTO). Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties aimed at ensuring the highest standards of education and administrative efficiency. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge in working with government-funded contracts (Skills Assure QLD), has an advanced understanding of ASQA's RTO standards, as well as knowledge within the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordination: Oversee the educational, administrative, and financial affairs of the institution or specific departments within the institution.

· Policy Development: Research, develop, implement, review, and evaluate educational and administrative policies.

· Liaison: Act as a liaison between educational institutions, parents, and the wider community to foster strong relationships and communication.

· Advisory Role: Provide advice on policy and procedures to staff and students to ensure clarity and compliance.

· Program Coordination: Consult with academic and administrative staff to coordinate and enhance educational programs.

· Needs Assessment: Identify and address present and future needs for student and staff development to ensure continuous improvement.

· Research and Evaluation: Conduct research on educational systems and monitor and evaluate new developments in the field.

· Curriculum Implementation: Research and report on students' needs arising from curriculum implementation to inform program adjustments.

· Training Development: Develop and deliver training programs for teachers to enhance their instructional skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

· Relevant tertiary qualifications in education or a related field.

· Extensive experience in an educational management role, preferably within the VET sector.

· Strong understanding of the vocational education landscape and the unique needs of high school students.

· Proven ability to develop and implement educational policies and programs.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

· Commitment to educational excellence and continuous improvement.
