They are looking for a Legal Counsel to join them. You will oversee the Company’s business conduct in compliance to local & international law and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the General Counsel and working with other members of the leadership team and external counsel in Singapore and overseas subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with functional stakeholders and management to provide legal support and advice to various business groups across the Group.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and other legal documents across the Group.
• Identify potential legal issues in the Group’s operation and offer proactive advice on legal issues.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (business partners, regulators, vendors and outside counsel etc) as and when necessary.
• Confident to work independently and possess work experiences in at least two of the following areas: Contract laws; Corporate laws; Data Protection laws; Employment Laws; Commercialisation of Intellectual Properties; Sanction laws; or Litigation.

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor of Laws degree from a reputable law school;
• At least 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in the same or related roles of an in-house legal team and/or in private practice in those areas mentioned above;
• Experienced working on cross border transactions, preferably with exposure to Asia Pacific
• Experienced working in a multinational manufacturing, industry in particular manufacturing and supply of electronics product

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to support business objectives and drive cost savings.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the procurement function.

• Compile and verify invoices / interim payment to ensure accuracy in purchase orders / certifications

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain management, Building Services, Contracts Management, Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
• Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement and contract management with a focus on integrated facilities management is a must.
• Team player with strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of facility management principles, best practices, and industry standards.
