DD0003 Information Visualization is a 13-week introductory course, that initiates students to the fundamental concepts of the practice of information visualization. The learnings achieved in this course helps expand students’ understanding on how complex information can be communicated meaningfully and clearly through visualization to inspire greater empathy and understanding from an audience. designing and developing for the web with a focus on front-end design.

Successful candidates will have a Masters and/or PhD in Design Art, or related field of study, with a track record of creative practice. Any past teaching experience at Undergraduate Level is preferred. • PhD from a recognized university
• Knowledge of education technology, AI-tools, social media and user preferences
• Pedagogical knowledge particularly in design of learning activities, testing and assessment with the use of education technology such as AI-tools, social media
• Prior experience in teaching in tertiary institutions, handling course design work related to disciplines in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability and creative problem-solving
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills

The School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. This is under Research Collaboration Agreement ‘Fermentation Technology’ funded by BUNGE and administrated by School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB).

Key Responsibilities:

The Research Fellow will be responsible to develop solid state and submerged fermentation technology for flavoring development. In addition, you are expected to cover the following scope:

• Planning and execution of experiment
• Monitor research progress
• Manage lab environment including tracking purchases
• Communicate research activities with BUNGE
• Development on shared lab SOPs and workflows

Job Requirements:

• Hold a PhD in a relevant discipline such as Microbiology, Food Science And Technology.
• Particular interest is in candidates with experience in food fermentation technology.
• Experience in biotechnology and green processing technology would be advantageous.
• Direct experience working in a food lab
• Strong background in food related research
• Comfortable with a role that crosses academic, industry and regulatory thinking.
