You will manage the relationship with the service providers, whilst also making recommendations to improve the environmental performance of our client's assets. Your ability to manage budgets effectively and contribute to investment plans to maximise asset values will also be key, as will the ability to control costs and expenditure. This role will be based onsite with the client on a 6 month contract. 

• Ensuring building compliance and driving initiatives on engineering standards across the business.
• Developing and enhancing the team’s portfolio of services.
• Managing the presentation and day-to-day operations of allocated properties, including security, maintenance and safety.
• Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, clients, contractors and colleagues.
• Reviewing the monthly operating expenditure against budget.
• Working with Property Managers to produce monthly client reports as required.
• Managing data within the facilities management software.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need extensive and recent experience working in a relevant technical role in either process, instrumentation, measurement, analytical or control engineering. It would advantageous if this experience was gained within energy the gas sector. The Role
The Hotel Maintenance Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing all Oakwood Premier Melbourne operations working with all areas of the hotel including maintenance front office, reservations, housekeeping, finance, human resources, food & beverage and sales & marketing departments.

Reporting to the General Manager, your key tasks and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;

-Recruiting, training, and supervising employees, in conjunction with front office department, housekeeping department, security department and Food & Beverage department
-Overseeing and directing all areas of the hotel including maintenance, front office, reservations, housekeeping, finance, human resources, food & beverage and sales & marketing departments.
-Ensure effective preventative strategies and plans are in place, in order to enhance guests' experiences by ensuring all needs and complaints are handled effectively and efficiently
-Conduct investigations and perform service recovery when required to maximise overall hotel operational efficiencies and performance
-Managing inventory and supplies, and ensuring all areas of the hotel are well-maintained and operational
-Oversee occupational health and safety procedures of the hotel and ensure they are compliant and meet industry regulations
-Supervise security arrangements, and garden and property maintenance
-Ensuring the hotel complies with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding, building, health, safety, and compliance
-Developing long-term strategies for the hotel's growth, improving guest satisfaction, and ensure our services and products staying competitive in the market
-Maintain landscaping and property upkeep, including preventative maintenance program, energy efficiencies, HVAC, lift servicing and other utilities
