In this role, you will be working at the heart of Telenor’s Global Procurement. For Procurement, Telenor has the ambition to develop Telenor Procurement Company (TPC) as a professional Procurement as a Service (PaaS) provider to customers within and outside Telenor organizations. You will be expected to drive strategic procurement initiatives, facilitate demand management, build sourcing strategy, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders of TPC PaaS customers.

VP – Markets and Indirect (M&I)
What you will do
· You will be a part of the Markets and Indirect Team which is one of TPC’s core procurement function.
· Even though you will be part of the M&I team, you are expected to be involved in both M&I related strategic procurement initiatives and strategic initiatives in other core procurement areas like Networks, IT etc. for PaaS customers outside Telenor organization and within Telenor organization.
· As part of TPC, lead, support and oversee the execution of strategic procurement initiatives
· Own building relationship with PaaS customers and Telenor stakeholders for the Procurement function and act as the TPC go-to person for key stakeholders in PaaS customers for procurement related activity
· Jointly identify collaboration opportunities, along with other Telenor, Global Procurement and PaaS customer functions.
· Prepare and participate in strategic and operational meetings related to strategic PaaS initiatives working across the Global Telenor, Global Procurement functions, regular engagement with senior management, CXO levels both at Telenor and PaaS customers
· Following expectations are specifically related to PaaS customers:
· Lead and maintain PaaS customer portfolio overview where Procurement is or will be involved
· Map and maintain comprehensive PaaS customers related procurement engagements across the procurement function (Spends and Revenue footprints), closely track, measure and assess Partnership performance & operational readiness, and provide feedback. During this process identify synergy areas between activities and continuously improve efficiency in the engagements.
· Conduct regular, standing meetings with both internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority
· Play a crucial role to build company credibility, brand value and trust with customers
· Provide support and advice on customer relationship management processes, role clarity, goals alignment and collaboration models to ensure successful PaaS customer execution
· Continuously improve existing processes, tools, and data for insights

Personal profile
We seek a Strategic Project, Markets and Indirect Director who has strong sourcing knowledge and has experience in strategic sourcing process, high level stakeholder management experience, working experience in multi-cultural set up with set focus on relationship program with TPC’s internal and external customers over.
The following personal characteristics will be critical to succeed in the role:
· Excellent written, presentation, communication and engagement skills with high level senior leaderships as well as Operations and Functional teams
· Ability to counsel and influence decision-makers by creating clear recommendations that will be presented to relevant decision makers in the executive management (internal and third party) and to TPC board (if applicable)

Requirements – Education and Experience
· At least 5-10 years working experience preferably mainly within Strategic Procurement/ Commercial Account management/Business partnering
· You will bring experience from a relevant position within a Procurement / Supply Chain / Sales Account Management / Business partnering function of a multinational with focus on and customer relationship management
· Previous experience working in an international environment, operating across countries
· Previous experience of engaging and working with Senior Leadership (CXOs)
· Experience in project and program management
· University degree within Project or Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Economics, Arts and Social Science, or equivalent
Additional requirements that would be desirable for applicants:
