Message Filter Group is responsible of screening of SWIFT messages (both incoming and outgoing) against sanctions regulatory list and internal monitoring list. The team will conduct investigation on all messages blocked by filter.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitoring of SWIFT messages held by Sanction Screening platform and follow up with Sanction Screening Governance team to release the SWIFT messages timely
• Provide first point of contact support for email and/or SWIFT and ensure all queries from both internal and external clients are responded in a timely and professional manner
• Support SWIFT Gateway operations and CLS / payments processingReview the format of payments which do not qualify for straight through processing and provide recommendations on correct formatting to conform with SWIFT Standards as the end goal of increasing the rate of STP

Our client is a global consulting firm working with a global Investment Management Group. We are looking for a Operation Analyst to support our client on a large-scale project. This is a 12 months contract with possibility of extension.

In this pivotal role, you’ll provide transition support to the BAU operations team, supporting the day-to-day collateral management activities of the Derivatives Business Management team.

The Role

• Handle daily tasks such as collateral valuation, margining, resolving disputes, collateral settlement, interest payment on cash collateral and ensuring timely settlement
• Reconcile daily margin amounts, review cash buffers, and manage security transfers. Keep internal records updated and reconcile collateral balances
• Maintain collateral inventory, block positions in Bloomberg AIM, and handle ad-hoc transfers. Also, manage collateral holdings, perform reconciliations and process security lending
• Reconcile collateral balances, coordinate asset transfers, and monitor thresholds. Ensure accuracy in reporting and reconciliation with external vendors
• Facilitate asset transfers, reconcile inventory, and prepare security lending confirmations. Maintain records and communicate with clients and vendors
• Prepare daily reports, reconcile cash balances, and manage cash corridors
• Confirm trades, resolve disputes, and ensure accurate booking and lifecycle management of derivative products

Your Requirement

• Bachelor Degree of Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance or related.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Investment operations of insurance / fund management / banking & finance industry
• Strong in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Settlement knowledge of various investment instruments
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong initiatives, able to multi-task and work under pressure

Job Description

Reporting to Projects & Continuous Improvement Manager, the Accountant plays an integral role in Finance Division in ensuring projects align with company-wide continuous improvement initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for hardware and software setup assisting with installation / deployment of laptops, printer and other IT equipment including resolve issues encountered by users.

· Point of contact between IT Departments of the company and the Business Divisions

· Responsible for and co-ordinates IT-related administrative matters of the Division, including but not limited to:

- User Account Management:

1. Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights in various systems and applications.

2. Ensure Staff on-boarding and offboarding processes are executed efficiently.

- Regular reviews on user access and controls

- Annual DR Exercises

· Initiate, support and monitor systems and continuous improvement projects for the Division and ensure it aligns with company-wide continuous improvement initiatives and Finance Division roadmap.

· Be involved in digitalisation projects through process simplification, introduce concepts like report automation, process automation like RPA.

· Engage key finance business stakeholders, collect requirements and translate into tender or user requirements specifications.

· Undertake any other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

· Information Technology (IT) or related Diploma or Degree and with at least 2 years of relevant experience

· Applicant with prior experience in system design and analysis knowledge will be an added advantage.

· Good communications, problem solving and project management skills.

· Good team player, self-motivated with positive working attitude

· Able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and high-volume environment or ambiguous situations.

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, good at writing reports in Chinese would be an advantage
• Attention to detail and good quantitative skills
• Knowledge of SQL, Python, R and VBA would be an advantage.
• Keen willingness to learn and develop.
