The Medical Director Primary Care Greenville provides administrative, programmatic, and clinical leadership for primary care services at the Greenville VA Health Care Center to ensure achievement of the clinical, research, and education goals. He/she is expected to maintain excellent diagnostic, judgmental, and therapeutic acumen in the care of Veterans receiving interventions.
• Maintain the clinical ability to perform full general clinical examinations on established or newly consulted patients in the clinics, on inpatient wards or in Emergency Department as needed.
• Promote the expansion of non-traditional care such as (but not limited to) CVT, electronic consultation (e-consult), group clinics, telephone clinics, secure messaging to improve access to care.
• Required to be eligible for a Faculty of appointment at UTHSC. VAMC Memphis is integrally involved in all teaching and research activities at the University. Teaching responsibilities may include resident mentorship during their inpatient rotations at the VA Memphis as well as outpatient clinic precepting, and other duties as assigned.
• Serving on facility, VISN, and National Committees and workgroups as appropriate.
• Overseeing professional and administrative activities within the assigned division including selection, orientation and continuing education of staff in collaboration with other Physician leaders.

• You will directly oversee a staff of professional experts across a range of multifaceted logistics programs that impact the combat readiness and logistical support of II MEF and it's subordinate units.
• You will analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of subordinates to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources.
• You will supervise the development of support and sustainment concepts and plans to satisfy logistics needs and requirements for real world deployments and exercises.
• You will plan work and supervise employees assigned to the Division and provide technical logistics guidance to personnel located throughout the command.
• You will coordinate the work of the division with other command elements and provide employee training as needed.
• You will keep supervisor informed on program requirements, determines administrative needs, and takes action to ensure these are met.
• You will represent at meetings and conferences with other agencies/activities as required, and provide and exchange information related to command operations planning and programming support.
• You will compose decision papers, evaluations, and program critiques for distribution
