Experience:

Marketing Experience: Prior experience in marketing is essential for a product marketing manager role. This could include roles such as marketing coordinator, marketing specialist, or even general marketing roles where you gained experience with product promotion, market analysis, and customer engagement.

Product Management Experience: Experience in product management or related roles is highly valuable. Understanding product lifecycle, market research, competitive analysis, and product positioning are crucial aspects of product marketing.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the industry in which you'll be working is often preferred. Experience within the specific industry gives you insight into market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, which are all valuable for effective product marketing.

Leadership and Team Management: As a product marketing manager, you'll likely be leading cross-functional teams, so experience in leadership or team management roles is beneficial.

Personality: sense of ownership, responsibility, logical thinking, and effective planning, being proactive, details-oriented, and as a team player, also being firm and persuasive, and being honest. Good email writing skills, as well as good interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, including public speaking.

Language: Proficient in English (oral and written)

What you’ll do: 

As a Product Manager, you’ll be at the heart of creating scalable analytic tools that bring NielsenIQ’s data to the center of the decisions our clients make every day. You can expect to work in a cross-functional, global team to contribute to building out our Revenue Optimizer solution, which is a critical component NielsenIQ’s revenue growth management strategy to solve clients’ analytic needs.

You’ll come right up to speed if 

• You have a Bachelor’s Degree, although Post Graduate experience in Business or Data Analytics is preferred.  

• You have 4+ years of experience in SaaS Product Management. 

• You have multicultural communication skills and can present information in a simple and compelling way to a variety of stakeholders. 

• You have an expertise in utilizing data to highlight solutions for clients, experience with Machine Learning/AI is a plus.   

• You have experience in FMCG and/or Retail industry. 

• You enjoy ideation on new challenges while simultaneously diving into the details. 

• You have a passion for honing in on the client’s needs and connecting them to design principles to devise a solution.
