Are you new to the world of electronics and looking to develop some design experience? Are you keen to apply your theoretical knowledge to real problems and pick up some practical skills along the way? Main topic of the Master Thesis is the development of a Solar Simulator for simultaneous measurement of 2 PV HC cells
Job description
After a proper training period, candidate will work in the Metrology team as Process Engineer for the development of a Solar Simulator for simultaneous measurement of 2 PV HC cells.
Beside the development of the Solar Simulator tool, as Process Engineer he/she will be on charge of definition of experimental methods for performance evaluation and validation.
It is also required to perform hands-on testing on developed system.
Requirements:
Master or Bachelor’s degree in: Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, SW Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Solid theoretical technical background
Knowledge of software languages like C++, C#
Languages: Fluent English mandatory, Italian preferable.
Personal Skills: autonomous on performing assigned task, willing to learn and to face new and challenging technical issues, team worker

Job Summary:
Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. Applications may include analog, digital and/or video circuits and logic systems. Will apply principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing, and physics, as applicable. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in research work. Performs operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Utilize manufacturing test, development or diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, VOD, DVM, signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Usually works under direction of engineering staff.
