About the Role

The Associate Client Solutions Architect works directly with our Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) clients and/or client service teams to create database solutions that address key business needs.  The AFC provides consultation and investigation on requested changes to assigned category and database structures, making recommendations on solutions that best address the clients business needs.  After clarifying the project scope, the AFC supports the work using our standard operating procedures and working in concert with other teams and players.  The ACSA consults with the client during key events and/or reviews to ensure continuous alignment on the project scope and expected outcome.

At NielsenIQ, the MDG team is responsible for Master data maintenance of Nielsen records with respect to Customers, vendors, Materials and Financials. We do creation, changes, extend, block and unblock activities of master data.

• MDG carries new customer Creation/Change/Extend for existing customer database for all the Nielsen Companies for all regions. Customer master data is the data you require to conduct business relationships with your customers. It includes address, VAT or TAX ID, Corporate Group aka HFM Code, Reconciliation accounts, House bank, and terms of payment, for example. It also controls how business transactions are posted to a customer account and how the posted data is processed.
• The Vendor Master database contains information about the vendors that supply an enterprise. This information is stored in individual vendor master records. A vendor master record contains the vendor’s database also we are maintaining a region wise exceptions for North America, Europe, APAC and LATAM. Vetting process is mandatory for all the Vendors creations and we needs to approach the controllers for approval process across regions.
• Material Master is the process of creation of Material for the particular company codes with the support of SAPFICO team, we are maintaining the material creation and Extend as per the forms submitted by the requesters.
• Finance Master is the Data for GL, Cost Center, Profit Center and also HFM Table Maintenance and Accounting Clerk Maintenance based on the approval provide by the controllers and we are maintaining a separate forms with reference for all the finance materials.
• For special projects we use separate LSMW (Mass upload template) for every project we received. Mass clean up activities for business units are taken up Via special projects by getting necessary approval.
• Data Migration is the special activity performed by the MDG team when new acquisition happened in the business. We will work with the end customer and sharing the process knowledge in the daily calls. We have core responsibility for the end to end data migration. We will provide the results to the clients which we tested in both GRQ & GRP.

This role is a bridge between operation & clients for all types of industries like (e.g. Beverages, Food, Health and Beauty Products). S/he is expected to identify, investigate and co-ordinate the resolution of data, process or product related queries and also be the point of contact for commercial queries which also needs to be solved in an efficient and client focused manner

• As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in managing and executing a variety of critical functions to ensure smooth HR operations within the organization. Your responsibilities will include: 
• Conducting regular and as-needed reporting, ensuring timely and accurate HR data management. 
• Acting as a mediator between the Payroll department and employees to resolve inquiries about wages, salaries, and leave benefits, ensuring accurate and compliant communication. 
• Acting as the primary contact for HR inquiries, providing first-level support and escalating issues as necessary. 
• Ensure continuity of business as usual (BAU) HR operations and administrative work in your respective cluster/country 
• Assisting in updating HR policies and procedures to reflect current practices and legal requirements. 
• Educating managers on using the Workday system 
• Contributing to Work Health & Safety initiatives, including the management of workers' compensation claims and the coordination of return-to-work plans. 
• Coordinating learning and development programs to support employee growth and skill development. 
• Assisting with the implementation of new HR projects and initiatives as directed, aimed at improving HR services and project delivery. 
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within HR operations and participating in the delivery of projects aimed at enhancing HR initiatives and services. 
• Providing administrative and support services across a range of HR activities. 
• Offering advice and support on the interpretation of Awards and Policies to ensure alignment with organizational practices and legal standards. 
• Supporting the talent management process, including assisting with the annual performance review cycle, growth conversations, and quarterly goal setting, by providing system support and data analysis. 

HR Generalist (Chennai/ Pune/ Gurgaon)

Role Purpose 

You will provide support to HRBPs on HR issues such as talent planning, team structure, data analysis and transformation initiatives. You’ll help managers and HR leaders identify and address HR challenges within their functions, and work to develop solutions that align with the team goals. 

Key Accountabilities 

Implementing HR strategy. You will partner with the HR Leader to implement key HR initiatives and interventions that support the business strategy.  

Retaining talent. You will be an active contributor to the implementation of defined retention strategies in partnership with Market HR. You’ll produce reporting and insights to assist HR leaders with measuring impact, and following up on progress. 

Talent management and development. You’ll assist with the organization and execution of Talent Reviews. You will also ensure accountability for action plans, and help maintain up to date succession plans. 

Organizational effectiveness.  You will support your respective HR leader in executing against organizational effectiveness strategies such as workforce planning, process changes, workflow changes, hiring review. You’ll assist with the development of competencies and new role profiles. Additionally, you’ll leverage data to contribute to business cases for location strategy, compensation changes, talent planning etc. You will also develop and maintain tools to track progress against key initiatives and strategic workforce planning (e,g hiring , out of cycle compensation reviews etc). 

Employee relations, labor relations and performance management.  You will support the HR leader in identifying situations that require employee relations interventions eg. performance improvement plans, investigations. and engage Market HR who will lead the correct approach and process.  

Culture, values and Diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) You will assist HR leaders in the roll out of HR initiatives that support the organization's values, mission, and DE&I goals.  You’ll also support the roll out of key global initiatives (eg. engagement survey) at the function or market-facing team level, aligning with Market HR when relevant. 

Change management and communication. You will assist with the roll out of key change initiatives and communication campaigns. You’ll partner with internal comms to develop communications. Additionally, you will support your respective HR leader in building change management materials, gathering appropriate stakeholder feedback and executing against plans. 

Financial acumen. You will provide your finance business partner and respective HR leader with required inputs to guide building and managing to our operating plan and 3YP. You'll demonstrate an understanding of the financials of the businesses you support. 

Skills and Knowledge 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent business experience. 

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or similar role. 

• A track record of translating data and metrics into measurable HR trends.

  Ability to translate complex data analysis and research principles into terms that can be understood by a broader audience.

  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to convey complex information concisely, simply and with clarity through presentations and business commentaries.

• Demonstrated financial acumen 

• Experience implementing HR strategies that are aligned to the organization's overall strategy and goals 

• Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and talent development. 

• Knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.  

• Demonstrated ability to use data to inform HR strategy and decision making 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with managers and employees. 

• Demonstrated experience supporting the implementation of change initiatives within the organization 

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
