CI Engineer
If you are an experienced and passionate Continuous Improvement Engineer or CI Coordinator who can champion a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of a large manufacturing facility, then we would love to hear from you. Main Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for implementing and leading continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve key metrics in safety, quality, time, and cost.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, define and scope projects, and implement lean tools to improve.
- Train, coach and influence others and, acting as a Change Agent, champion continuous improvement efforts throughout the organisation.
- Partner with leaders to identify improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and support building the business case.
- Facilitate Kaizen events and shop floor improvement activities.
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or manufacturing.
- A strong understanding of manufacturing systems, quality tools, and their application.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of Lean principles and tools (Kaizen, 5 Why, 5S, TPM, etc.).
- Proven experience leading Lean system implementations and improvement activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, including stakeholder identification and management.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

- Thorough understanding and knowledge of Lean principles and tools (Kaizen, 5 Why, 5S, TPM, etc.).
- Proven experience leading Lean system implementations and improvement activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (if not, willingness to train)
