What you will do

What you will do
Under general supervision, conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning and general servicing of systems (including detailed troubleshooting of systems). What you will do
Under minimal supervision, the HVAC Senior Controls Technician conducts preventive maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning as well as general servicing of control systems including detailed troubleshooting of systems and properly completes required project and service documentation. Responsible for high levels of customer satisfaction through direct, onsite customer interface. With a high level of complete technical competence, mentors Control Technicians, Service Technicians and Mechanical Technicians on Building Automation activities.

Assist in the loading and commissioning of all system and network-level controllers as required. Assist in validation of complete system functionality and troubleshoot problems with subcontractors and other trades to ensure proper operation.

What we look for
Required
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence, and applications
Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields
Able to use hands, power tools and electrical testing equipment such as a multi meter.
Solid knowledge base in use of personal computers.
Attention to detail.
Effective communication and listening skills.
(Depending on location, the mounting and termination of low voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.)
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25.91 USD - $32.40 USD (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
