General Description

The incumbent is part of the ICE team who oversees safe and effective execution of all instrumentation and electrical maintenance services at the LNG Terminal.

Roles & Responsibilities

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to the following scope of tasks and duties:

• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for all instrument and electrical equipment in a timely and cost effective manner
• Perform basic calibration, tuning and troubleshooting activities for process transmitters, control valves, programmable logic controllers, supervisory control and data acquisition, analysers, gas metering flow computer system, tank gauging system, ACMV, Fire and Gas System
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting activities on motors, MCC, transformers and switchgears, variable speed drive, UPS, gas engine generators among others
• Perform electrical tag out and log out for specific work orders under supervisors’ instructions
• Maintain proper PM records performed and update records of all jobs performed in SAP application
• Provide support on plant modification work such that it is carried out in safely and in accordance to quality standard set by the company
• The incumbent shall be also be part of the company’s Emergency Response Team (CERT) and perform any assigned roles and responsibilities (i.e fire fighter etc) for such purposes.

Work Experience

• Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the oil and petrochemical refinery or power generation industry
• Familiar with permit to work system, hazardous area classifications and Process Plant Workplace Safety and Health requirement
• Proficient in usage of Microsoft Office and trained in the use of the CMMS SAP

Education

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate cold-treatment reefer requirements, data requests and space requirement from principals for shipping of heavy damage containers;

• 3rd Party recovery on damage containers;
• Coordinate reworking operations for live dry /RF container in PSA Terminal and subsequently reporting of each reworking to principals;
• Coordinate load & lash operations and patching with PSA Terminal & vendor;
• Arrange for survey of any damage/ off-hire empty dry container;
• Follow up with POL on the seal replacement documentation.

• Arrange for survey of any on-hire reefer empty containers;

• Arrange and coordinate the supply and / or collection of reefer shipkits onboard MSC or partner vessels as directed;

Job Description

The role of the Technician is to carry out routine and non-routine maintenance activities. The Technician ensures the quality of maintenance work in his/her designated area and ensures that the necessary standards of housekeeping and safe work practices are maintained.

· Operations and Maintenance of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) in Singapore Changi Airport.

· Adhere to all safety rules and regulations while executing tasks.

· Execute quality and timely work.

· Perform routine and non-routine maintenance activities in one or more designated work areas.

· Respond quickly to faults and disruptions of the BHS system.

· Adhere to customer site rules and regulations.

· Deliver materials in need of repair to respective site.

· Return excess materials to delivery zones or the main office.

· Enter accurate and timely work order completion data.

· Contribute to modification or replacement of equipment.

· Assist with the installation of new assets.

· Assist with overall site housekeeping.

· Assist with work planning.

· Assists in breakdown recovery.

· Updates and upkeeps maintenance checklist.

· Updates and upkeeps pre-emptive maintenance checklist.

· Replacement of all equipment on request.

Requirements

Electrical Technician

· NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.

· OR similar technical certification from a reputable institute.

· Able to read electrical drawing or circuit diagram.

· Relevant working experience.

· Hands-on knowledge on PLC and Frequency Inverters will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office.

· Able to work in a rotating shift.

Mechanical Technician

· NTC / Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering.

· OR similar technical certification from a reputable institute.

· Relevant working experience.

· Hands-on knowledge on conveyor systems will be an added advantage.

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office.

· Able to work in a rotating shift.

Additional Information

· Work location is in Changi Airport

· Work will be in a restricted area which requires screening by the Airport Police Division.

· Work shift pattern:

- One cycle (2 mornings à 2 afternoons à 2 nights à 2 off days)

- Morning shift – 7.30 am to 3.30 pm

- Afternoon shift – 3.00 pm to 10.30 pm

- Night shift – 10.00 pm to 8.00 am
