To act as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Nurse. The post holder will ensure good governance in line with relevant best practice is undertaken to the highest standards of probity and according to statutory and legislative requirements.

The post holder will provide senior administrative support for Board/committee meetings as assigned.

This post requires the post holder to work autonomously to investigate complex issues and identify relevant solutions. The post holder will need to deal with complex enquiries, whilst prioritising their workload.

The post holder will be required to plan and organise activities some of which may be complex and require ongoing management and adjustment to ensure the Chief Nurse is able to fulfil her responsibilities effectively including Board/Committee and senior management meetings as well as internal and external events on behalf of the Chief Nurse.

In addition, the post holder will be required to manage a range of projects which will require formulation and adjustment.

You will be an excellent communicator and be confident and comfortable in dealing with internal and external people at all levels.

The post holder will be the first point of contact on behalf of Executive Directors, their deputies and other senior managers.

The post-holder will work as part of the Executive Support Team and will carry out any other duties as may reasonably be required by their line manager including temporary cover for other members of the team.

Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Nurse, and the wider Care Quality Directorate Team, including the following functions:

The Director of Joint Force Development is the principal advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and Director of the Joint Staff (DJS), on all matters pertaining to the J7 enterprise. The J7 trains, educates, develops, designs and adapts the globally integrated, partnered, joint force to achieve overmatch in the competition continuum under conditions of accelerating change in the character of war.

The Vice Director's central responsibility is leading the adaptation and innovation of the globally integrated, joint and partnered force--under the conditions of disruptive technology, great power competition, contested environments, and the accelerating pace of change in warfare. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Leading on behalf of the Deputy Secretary of Defense and Vice Chairman, an external network of governance bodies and innovation groups across Services, COCOMS, OSD, the defense innovation base and the Joint Staff. The Vice Director leads the fundamental process change in the POM and JROC to ensure that OSD resource decisions are informed by creative concepts, asymmetric CONOPs and campaign outcomes. Paired with the J8 Vice Director and OSD counterparts, the Vice Director will implement Joint Concept Driven, Threat Informed Capability Development as the method for OSD resource decision-making.
• Recommending key issues for resolution to all senior leader decision bodies involving the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. As the Deputy Staff Director for Management and Administration in this position, you will:

• Participate with other senior FEC management officials in policy development and strategic planning for the Commission, in building broad consensus, and in successfully communicating and implementing these policies and plans.
• Serve as the agency's Chief Human Capital Officer, providing leadership and direction to the FEC's human capital management program and serving as the first line supervisor to the Director of Human Resources.
