Key Responsibilities:
Drive the Open and API First platform initiative for Hotel IT
Lead product management activities for the Hotel IT APIs including the preparation of Epics, prioritisation based on business value and opportunity potential
Define the product vision & the business value in line with the business owners
Define and manage product roadmap around API Management
Assess tooling needs around API design and delivery pipeline
Work closely with the System Integration team and Architects to ensure proper guidelines and forums are in place for API and data model definition. Monitor adoption of those
Collaborate with the cross-business unit Creation Platform teams to ensure common API portal, API management and API gateway meet Hospitality business needs
Establish and categorize the unified API Catalog for Hotel IT and track standards compliance
Improve the API management process and awareness in Hotel IT
Embark Amadeus teams on API vision and ensure mutual understanding of the business
Maximize the outcome of the agile organization by translating requirements into user stories, prioritizing them, and validating their delivery
Coordinate with PMs, Architects, and Delivery teams to ensure end-to-end solution consistency
Required Competencies:
Proficient in technical knowledge to ensure team performs at a high level. Is recognized as a leader in own area and may formally train Specialists/Senior Specialists.
Understands how main business drivers may impact on own area. Can assess complex problems with broad impact on the activity, improve processes, recommend solutions and risk mitigation plans. Able to communicate complex information.
Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions. Leads projects or contributes to broad cross-functional projects. May contribute to planning of resources and budget.
Be a change agent: embark teams and stakeholder to drive change to maximize outcome & team's engagement.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a Product Management role, ideally in a platform business (B2B)
Demonstrated experience leading and influencing global teams in a multicultural environment
Good understanding in API design, API development, R&D delivery process and toolchain
Excellent communication skills, customer empathy, lateral thinking, influencing skills
Fluent in English
Understanding of Platform business model (consumers/providers)
Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe as a plus)
Hospitality IT background and understanding of customer and partner ecosystem

Within a multicultural organization spread over Nice, Bangalore, Boston, the Shopping Engine team are in charge of Shopping, Rates, and inventory products of Hospitality Amadeus Central Reservation product, developing the software used to shop and price.
As a Product Definition Analyst in our team, you would be a key player of our success in designing new features, answering the complex needs of our Customers and contributing in building our platform vision.
Assess requirements
* Build, maintain and share the functional knowledge of our processes, services and usage of end user products.
* Analyze business requirements submitted by Product Management.
* Size specification and validation work.
Carry out functional design
* Write Feasibility Studies, Solution Overview Documents, Interface Control Documents, Product Specifications and present functional walk-throughs to all concerned stakeholders.
* Interface with relevant divisions and departments to identify interactions with other Amadeus applications and ensure functional compatibility.
Overview validation
* Contribute to the implementation of the test strategy, and review test plan, to ensure compliance of the delivered functionality and system integrity
* Ensure traceability of tests with specifications
* Ensure production integrity by investigating, validating and prioritizing reported incidents.
Manage relations with key stakeholders
* Interface and communicate with Product Management, Project management, Amadeus Customer Services, Implementation, Migration and Development teams.
* Interface with the customer during requirements understanding, functional specification, testing and implementation phases.
Participate to team events
* Support team stakeholders by participating to team ceremonies: Agile forums, Team meetings, Solution assessments.
About the ideal candidate
University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field or equivalent experience
Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst/Product Definition Analyst or similar role within an engineering environment gathering requirements, writing specifications, designing solutions, interacting with other members in a scrum environment.
Ability to understand complex business processes and to translate them into clear documentation
Ideally coming from a strong IT/technical background
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Good organization skills
Ability to quickly adopt new tools and methodologies

Job Title
As Product Manager for Global Connectivity, you will support the global connectivity team responsible for evolving Amadeus's leading connectivity network through driving integrations with key industry partners such as OTAs, GDSs, PMS, RMS, Payment Providers and other 3rd party systems. This role will ensure the end to end product/solution lifecycle from customer requirements definition to product investment and product development monitoring.
Product Strategy & Roadmap Planning - Global Connectivity:
• Articulate & Develop value propositions and key messages corresponding to problem statements, and articulate them into new product concepts or upgrades.
• Drive co-innovation with customers to validate customer value drivers, define features of the products (MVP and beyond), and prioritize based on effort and expected business value.
• Interface with key stakeholders (Partnerships, Sales, Operations, R&D, etc.) to maintain the pulse of the changing customer and industry demands
