• Handle day to day cargo operations and shipping operations
• Handle sales and purchase contract, L/C, and other cargo and trading documents
• Handle recover claims and demurrage from counterparties
• Liaise with buyers, sellers, shipping brokers, ship owners, terminal operators, joint ventures partners etc to ensure smooth operations, avoid supply disruption and minimise demurrage costs.
• Check and update the operations data in the system for analysis and reporting.
• Make reporting of tanker market information (vessel fixtures, etc) to assist chartering and trading
• Support Risk Management Analyst

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime study or any related field with 1 year experience in cargo tanker operation
• Able to work in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and IT-savvy to be able to use other software/platform required for trading & operations
• Ability to work independently, as well as being a good team player with good communication skills;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to handle full set accounts for Singapore.
• Performing Month End and Year End Closing

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferred at least 3 years of relevant experience in handling a full set of accounts
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) & Xero Accounting Software
• Prior experience in Ecommerce Industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbally
