Roles & Responsibilities
The Associate Director (International Business Development) is responsible for business development, marketing, sales of both broad-based and niche services including performing, prospecting, developing relationships with potential customers, and meeting sales targets.
Resourceful and analytical, he/she is also expected to lead teams and make business decisions independently if needed.
Detailed job descriptions are as follow
- To support the senior management team, and the Marketing Director (International) in developing market entry strategies and in order to grow business plans in Singapore and in key overseas markets, in particular in South Asia Market, that align with the business direction.
- To assist the Marketing Director (International) in the development and implementation of business development plans to achieve short term and long-term business development goals and objectives, in particular in South Asia Market,
- To identify and evaluate business opportunities within the vision, mission.
- To undertake market research (in-house or outsource) to keep the management abreast of the latest market and industry trends
- To evaluate the findings of market research; assess the viability of alternative market segments for growth and make recommendations.
- Obtaining new sales for school, etc related project and negotiating terms and securing a favorable contract.
- Compliance with all government requirements including MOM, CPE, and ICA.
- Monitor the progress of work regularly and get feedback from associate staff and take corrective action at the right time.
- Follow up on payment matters.
- Furthering the organization’s business by looking for more international associates and international students to register and/or sign up for our services, in particular in South Asia Market.
- To render effective and satisfactory services to our clients- associate & candidates.
- To carry out all student-related functions within the framework of the Singapore govt. guidelines.
- To assist candidates in fulfilling ICA, MOM formalities, etc.
- To look for new opportunities and rope in more recruitment agents to further our business
- To follow the rules of governmental ministries/departments in carrying out the functions and not to violate any rules or laws of the land.
- To perform all administrative task required to assist students, both local and international, in securing an internship position
- Identify, manage, and secure existing and student prospects from the International Market, in particular in South Asia Market.
- Responsible for business development with existing and potential clients to promote/create awareness of the courses available e.g generate and increase brand awareness and inquiries via marketing activities through above the line / below the line marketing in the international market.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to travel independently outside Singapore for company work purposes, depending on the prevailing travel guidelines.
- Must be having good command on local language and local market also able to understand multiple international languages used in the South Asia Market, (English, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Telugu, Tamil,etc.) at the same time.
- Must able to work in split shift willing to travel multiple times out of Singapore frequently in non-official hours and even public holiday & weekends also.
- Target sales oriented and able to decide independently when required.
- Proficient in computer software management and development.
- Collaborate with key account managers to identify new business and grow relationships that assist in revenue generation within assigned verticals.
- Develop co-created solutions with customers to enhance offerings and competitiveness.
- Develop intervention strategies to mitigate gaps in the delivery of company services.
Identify lapses in the delivery of company services to customers.
- Develop sales performance metrics based on organization service prices and cost structure approach.
- Drive customer attraction and retention strategies to improve customer loyalty.
- Review sales performance metrics to enhance sales outcomes.
- Review sales proposals documents.
- Shape sales outcome effectiveness.
- Develop a network to improve partnership effectiveness
- Negotiate terms with prospective recruitment associates
- Plan and implement initiatives to bring about closer ties with recruitment associates
- Strengthen and grow associate’s relations to further collaboration opportunities
- Audit recruitment associate’s recruitment processes to ensure compliance with CPE regulations
