Qualifications/Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital sales experience required. Existing relationships with key accounts and IDNs strongly preferred.
• Hematology/Oncology or transplant sales experience preferred
• Infusion experience preferred
• Buy & Bill experience preferred
• Product launch experience preferred
• Experience effectively managing the formulary process through P&T and other clinical influencers to ensure rapid product addition in assigned accounts
• Proven track record of success in competitive environments with examples of awards and achievements

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Generating volume and market share growth for assigned pharmaceutical products within a specific geographic area. 
• Selling presentations to physicians and other health care professionals, primarily in an office based setting. 
• Developing an understanding of the issues and opportunities unique to the geography, particularly in managed health care. 
• Manage allocated resources (samples, promotional and educational materials) to maximize return within regulatory and ethical guidelines. 
• Maintains accountability for all pharmaceutical samples in accordance with FDA and PDMA guidelines. 
• Utilize the sales automation system to document call and program activity. 
• Complete initial and ongoing product and development training as required.

Basic:

• BA/BS required

Preferred:

• 5 years of Pharmaceutical Sales Experience with documented success and focus in Urology or Oncology.
• Buy and Bill experience
• Established relationships within targeted geography.

Identifies risks to program success and escalates to management as necessary. Manages project delivery process, scope, and costs of moderately complex projects under broad supervision; drives completion of the project. Manages change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization, and contributing to development of training. Evaluates project results against success metrics; recommends or implements changes to processes, resources and solutions that improve productivity and product. Consistently delivers established team reporting and guidance metrics. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience Project management education and/or experience. Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Minimum 5-7 years of pharmacy, healthcare, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five (5) years of experience in software and/or product development or related field. Understanding of insurance and adjudication processes Proficient in cross training in various departments, knowledge of interdepartmental coordination and communication procedures

Proficient in PC applications.

• Oversee the performance of the various “clusters” within the call center.
• Work closely with the Program Director and the Management Team to meet departmental goals and performance.
• Plan, review and optimize workflows within the call center.
• Ensure employee training and quality of work is always above expectations.
• Oversee accurate completion of data entry, benefits, funding, and other related daily tasks to ensure compliance with SOP’s and SLA’s.
• Ensure the KPI’s are aligned with daily activities and tasks.
• Schedule and delegate workload amongst team members, as needed to accommodate vacation and illness.
• Manage your team member’s workloads to effectively manage cost and reduce overtime.
• Audit and verify team members work to ensure information accuracy.
• Work cross-functionally with QA and Trainers for optimal training, onboarding, and continuous development of staff.
• Answer staff and customer questions and recommend corrective services to address customer complaints.
• Provide product/service information by answering questions, aiding customers, providers, and fellow employees.
• Work with call center leadership to identify improvements and provide plan of action on improvements.
• Complete all employee documentation in a timely manner, including annual performance appraisals.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year managing with team lead experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmacy, healthcare, medical billing, insurance verification or similar experience
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
• Data entry skills and ability to type 30wpm+

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience verifying insurance eligibility and coverage including but not limited to benefits, pre-certification and referrals, reimbursement.
