Scheduler - Property Maintenance; based in Westhill you will be working full-time and full office based as part of the scheduling team for a newly won, UK wide property maintenance contract.

Position Type: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)

Start Date: 1st May

Job Responsibilities

• Seeking tender opportunity
• Attend site briefing before tendering the project
• Prepare cost analysis based on the architectural drawings and materials required
• Obtaining sub-contractor’s quotation for various trade
• Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities and discuss with Senior QS for pricing
• Prepare for final submissions
• Monitoring progress and liaise with vendor
• Attend site meeting for on-going project
• Process VO and preparing final accounts
• Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the client are delivered

Job Requirements

You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is details oriented, possesses strong skills relevant to the scope of work. Able to work in a team and independently, possesses excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure.

• Diploma/Degree in QS course or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively
• At least 2 years experience in Interior construction

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for produce structural shop drawing to meet the project requirements.

2. Responsible for the preparation of drawings and detailed design documents

3. Ability to undertake concept design and development

4. Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data

5. Other ad-hoc drafting assigned by the project management

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering

2. Min 3 years relevant experience in the related field

3. Proficient in AutoCAD is a must

4. Knowledge in Tekla Structures, 3DMax will be an advantage

5. Ability to work independently meets with the deadline

6. Strong teamwork spirit, proactive & good communication skills

7. Strong creativity in concept design, architectural details and construction practices.

• Provide scheduling services across multiple commissions
• Develop an Integrated Master Works Program (IMWP) 
• Monitor, update and provide Project status report including commentary on milestones met, any likely and evident causes of slippage/delay and recommending tasks required to mitigate/recover time losses
• Provide advice on options and strategies to resolve program issues and remedy any problems
• Contract review and provide advice on extension of time claims
