Job Responsibilities:

Joining our Procurement team, you'll be responsible for procuring IT-related goods and services to fulfill the company's needs, focusing on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. Crafting comprehensive contract documents delineating contractors' duties and liabilities while safeguarding the company's interests will be a key aspect of your role. You'll collaborate closely with user departments to develop tender documents, ensuring precise specifications aligned with business requirements. Additionally, you'll analyze tender submissions, engaging in negotiations with suppliers to secure the best value propositions for the organization.

Qualifications:

• Hold a degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement and sourcing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in strategic sourcing, tendering processes, contract management, negotiation, and governance.
• Possess exceptional communication and influencing skills, particularly in contract negotiations.
• Establish and nurture productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill the business objectives.
• Display resourcefulness, drive, and a collaborative mindset, fostering innovation and driving change to achieve results.
• Preferably, have experience with e-procurement software/platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, Zycus, etc.
• Candidates with a background in procuring IT services and products are preferred.
• CIPS certification is advantageous.

Duties:

• Perform end-to-end procurement processes, from reviewing procurement paperwork to generating procurement documents (e.g. GRN) using our automation bot, ensuring compliance with internal policies and guidelines.
• Provide guidance to project teams on procurement compliance, understand their needs, and recommend suitable procurement approaches and sourcing strategies.
• Identify and communicate potential procurement, contractual, and supplier-related risks to project teams and suggest strategies to mitigate these risks and avoid non-compliance.
• Efficiently manage and track budget allocations, ensuring expenditures are accurate and aligned with the approved budgets.
• Handle other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, working experience in Accounting & Budgeting.
• Handle a lot of IT engagements and assist on the finance and procurement compliance aspects.
• Do not require in-depth IT expertise (e.g. how to troubleshoot and fix IT devices), but will require the procurement manager to understand the nature of the IT works that are being procured (e.g. subscription of software licence vs. buying a server).
• Familiarity with contract management will be a plus.
• Experience in a Big 4 Assurance role will be a plus.
• Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders.
• A team player who possesses meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-reliant individual who thrives and delivers in a fast-paced setting.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Admin, Engineering or a related field.
• Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably with experience in inventory, Procurement, Project management, data tracking and reporting
• Familiarity with contract management will be a plus.
• Experience in a Big 4 Assurance role will be a plus.
• Experience in similar role is preferred, particularly in the fintech space.
• Good in project management and executing processes within given timelines.
• Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders.
