Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of related products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Production line setup activities including equipment setup, process alignment, electrical and mechanical connections to enable the startup of production line.
• Follow supervisor instructions to carry out all the daily activities.
• Troubleshoot issue in the production equipment and process.
• Production license and permit applications through local governmental agencies for membrane production approval.
• Set up required documentation for membrane production, including SOP, RA, ERP, etc., as per requirements.
• Align with teams, plan and source local chemicals required for membrane production.
• Daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working conditions.
• Work with internal resources, suppliers and development partners to execute projects.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Microsoft words, excels, power point literate.
• Strong hands-on experience in hollow fiber membrane production setup and operation is a plus.
• Willing to travel to China for support for chinese plant setup and production

We have a rare opportunity for a Manufacturing Technician to join a well-established global manufacturer.

Duties:

Your role will see you supporting in the preparation of the product, both machine and raw material. This is includes cutting, covering, gluing and curing along with quality checks and finishing.

Required skills:

• You should come with some manufacturing experience, and machine experience would be desirable.
• Parts are small in size so good steady hands are needed and care to be taken in handling the product.
• Attention to detail is vital

There is some lifting involved and you will be seated and standing at various times during the day to fulfil the job duties.

We are looking for someone who will be committed and who is keen to learn new skills and develop. Training is provided in order for you to learn the specifics of the role. The role is very in-depth and requires great attention to detail.

This is a temporary position initially with the aim for it to become a permanent contract after successful completion of a temporary trial period.

Full-time hours; Monday to Thursday 0800-1700 & Friday 0800-1200.
