• Engage GRA Leaders for stakeholder input to develop strategy for resource planning for each functional area
• Lead collaboration with GRA Leaders, HR, Finance in workforce planning, long-range planning, and budgeting activities to meet needs of dynamic portfolio.
• Facilitate ongoing meetings with HR and Finance regarding headcount forecasting and budget management
• Regularly present headcount and budget forecasting updates to GRA Leadership Team
• Provide oversight and maintain accurate assessment of all aspects of resource management for GRA FTEs and temporary headcount (independent contractors, FSP staff) including open, approved and filled positions
• Lead Resource planning/headcount/capacity forums for individual functions, as appropriate
• Provide oversight and maintain an accurate assessment of current and projected resource demand.
• Develop processes that drive efficiency for resource planning.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience managing financial and workforce planning activities, including financial reporting and analysis, and in-depth knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and/or Drug Development Lifecycle
• Experience with corporate planning cycles, including annual Budgets, Long-Range planning, and Workforce Planning.

How you will do it:

• Responsible for HR operational excellence through the flawless execution of all mandatory, corporate & regional HR policies, processes & tools within assigned country.

• Provides input to annual hiring Plan as developed by the business & collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition team.

Learning & Development

• Liaises with the Learning & Development COE in order to ensure that appropriate training programs are designed that meet business & country needs.
• Supports the annual performance management process at regional level down to branch staff. Educates all regional management on the correct & consistent application of performance management related policies, processes & tools.
• Supports HR leadership & HR business partners with the leadership assessment & strategic talent review processes for employees in assigned country.

This is a strategic leadership role to develop and implement the People and Talent Strategy for the Business Unit (BU).  This role will also oversee the delivery of operational HR across the BU.

You will report to the Regional People Director for Asia Pacific with a dotted line to the BU Managing Partner (BUMP).  This role involves a mixture of strategic HR and tactical HR, with this person being comfortable in rolling up their sleeves and ensuring the day-to-day HR generalist activities are positioned to support desired business outcomes.  You will lead a small team of HR practitioners and collaborate closely with Regional and Global Centres of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Diversity & Inclusion).  

This role is a senior HR Business Partner supporting the BUMP, BU Leadership Team, Partners and People Managers.  

In addition to the responsibility across the BU, you will be a key member of the APAC People Leadership team and People community, contributing to and influencing People-related projects across the Region.

Experience Required:
