Approach is partnering with a large NFP based in Canberra to find a Project Manager to assist and coordinate the Optimal Utilisation of the Medicare Benefits Scheme.  The successful candidate will work in a collaborative team to strengthen and support the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled sector by improving MBS claiming practices.  Experience:

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Medicare system, including the MBS Billing Schedule.
Experience or qualifications in public health, health policy, or other relevant areas. 
Demonstrated experience as a policy or program officer within either the APS or a relevant NGO.

The Assistant Chief Supply Chain Officer (ACSCO) is a senior supply chain management (SCM) officer for a VA Health Care System (VA HCS) with multiple sites of care and supported catchment areas, responsible for the development and integration of a cohesive supply chain; supports oversight, guidance, management, and integration of supply chain operations across the organization, including planning and coordination with fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations; operationalizes performance and measurement of logistics functions throughout the VA HCS. The ACSCO serves as the alter ego to the Facility Chief Supply Chain Officer (FCSCO) and is assigned continuing responsibility for managing a major part of the Logistics Service in the SCM program with the direction and opinion of this role having the same authority given to the Service Chief.
Duties include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Oversees, guides, manages and integrates supply chain operations across the organization;
• Plans and coordinates fiscal, acquisition, clinical and administrative operations;
• Establishes, monitors and manages the performance and measurement of logistics functions for all aspects of the supply chain;
• Conducts logistics audits, compliance reviews and program effectiveness/efficiency reviews;
• Manages all activities involved in the supply chain management to include sourcing, procurement and logistics management activities;
• Responsible for linking major business functions and processes within the organization into a cohesive and high performing business model;
• Forecast planning and budget execution for supplies, subsistence, durable medical equipment, medical gases, expendable/non-expendable and capital equipment, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation and distribution;
• Leads and/or participates in regular meetings, ensuring logistics needs and requirements are being met;
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

***A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.

Work Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday
