The Inclusive Finance Specialist (IFS) will be responsible for working with financial service providers to strengthen their product offering to improve access to finance for the most vulnerable in the Mekong Delta and to develop innovative finance products and services for financing Nature based Solution in the Mekong Delta. As a Mortgage Specialist within the Core Banking business, you will be responsible for developing UOB’s mortgage loans portfolio while providing excellent end-to-end loan advisory to our customers. You are expected to achieve individual sales targets while ensuring accurate and timely completion of the entire sales and compliance process. Specific responsibilities include:

• Provide loan advisory and solutions to meet the property financing needs of UOB’s retail customers
• Acquire new customers through cold-calling, referrals, and active participation in road shows
• Develop strong alliances with property agents, lawyers, and developers to build a strong base of referrals
• Ensure proper advisory procedures and documentation while adhering to the Bank’s internal policies and business processes

Job Requirements

• A recognised University Degree/Diploma
• Prior experience in property and/or consumer mortgage sectors is highly preferred
• Results-oriented, dynamic and self-driven
• Competent in engaging and managing internal and external clients
• Proven ability to exceed sales target
• Resourceful and able to work with minimal supervision
• Candidates may be required to work on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high quality financial analysis for product category, brand, and market using data to deliver commercially relevant insights. Perform advanced financial modelling, profitability analysis, monitoring business issues and impact to the bottom line, as well as analyzing proposed introduction of new products and actionable insights is expected.
• Collaborate with business directors to track business goals, prospects/pipelines and client profitability, and provide timely and relevant reporting and insights in these areas to the business.
• Performing monthly variance analysis of financial results, review with commercial business leaders to ensure understanding of the drivers and corresponding risk, controlling of selling and distribution expenses.
• Prepare and manage of budgets and rolling forecasts (sales and selling expenses) and management of business reviews of actuals vs forecasts
• Managing customers contracts, liaison with Legal Counsel and Business Directors, and also managing contracted sales targets, incentive programs
• Ensure overseas sales entities (and Singapore market) are managing at right level of operation controls and governance requirements.
• Leveraging BI tools (Tableau) to provide visibility of business performance and for better risk controls.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or other related area.
• Minimum of 5 years commercial business partnering experience gained in MNC
• Strong preference for candidates from manufacturing and export business environment
• Superior proficiency with ERP (Oracles) and Microsoft Excel
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, demonstrated teamwork skills
• Demonstrated excellent analytical, project management and financial skills
• Operates within a team and independently
• Ability to balance and manage varying tasks with different skill requirements in a productive and effective manner
• Candidate with pricing and costing analyzing experience is preferred
