-Performs overall Occupational Therapy Assessment and Treatment. Maintains optimum standards of Occupational Therapy care and practice.
-Identify treatment planning, implementation, re-evaluation and discharge planningfor client.
-Diverse presentations of physical and psychological conditions.
-Undertakes all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, in delivery of health promotional activities.
-Conversant with the Standard Operation PRocedures (SOPs) of the centre and is compliant with the requirements specified.
-Maintains appropriate individual records documented in the SOAP format.
-Demonstrates sound knowledge of clinical risk assessments and proactively ensures a safe environment during treatment of clients.
-Work at all times within the scope of the workplace safety and health act of 2009 and Home policy for reporting of accidents, incidents, hazards and risk management.
-Support or facilitate research initiatives with in Occupational therapy service.
-Work with the multi-disciplinary team in intergrating the clients into the community.
-Attend relevant meetings and give necessary input.
-Undertake responsibility and duties assigned by the Director from time to time.
