The purpose of this role is to manage new product innovation with internal (plant) and external stake holders (BU and bottlers) in order to have a flawless innovation processes for new product introduction. The role will be responsible for managing all the projects with the proper timings and achieving each stage gates needed for a successful implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management for commercialisation and execution of New Products in PGCS for the APAC Sector
- Ensure all New Product Launches are delivered to the market on time and within budget
- Develop strong relationships with project stakeholders in a virtual environment as well as with the key plant stakeholders in PGCS manufacturing sites
- Influence a network of resources and stakeholders across PGCS Supply Chain to ensure a holistic approach to determine what tasks need to be completed
- Implement best practices for commercialisation activities to reduce Speed to Market and improve PGCS services to R&D and the BU for that sector
- Identify and align critical project targets including timing, product cost targets, volumes and etc.
- Ensure that the project is executable by the PGCS manufacturing site and the preferred Supply Chain is ready for commercialisation
- Engagement with the APAC Innovation Manager to ensure project timelines are achievable
- Manage the cost exposure to the PGCS by identifying risks and aligning exposure costs
- Track appropriate metrics to manage and continuously improve performance for all New Products introduced into PGCS
- Manage a network of resources across PGCS to support the product launch and issue resolution
- Manage escalation and hyper care projects to ensure critical project timelines are not missed
- Participate in development and implementation of commercialisation processes and improvements
- Meet all internal and external compliance responsibilities including Purchasing Policy requirements, GCS, SOX & AIBI
- Adherence to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements is a requirement of this role
- Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
PRE-REQUISITES
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance or equivalent qualification in a related discipline
- At least 8 years of experience in a related Supply Chain or Operations role, with experience in logistics and documentation
- Experience in New Product Introduction will be an advantage
- PMO experience
- Ability to deliver optimised Innovation and continuous improvement projects
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
- Result and process orientated
- SAP and FSS experience
- Excellent presentation skill
- Proficient with Excel
- Ability to influence across the organization using networks to achieve success
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi task
- High level of self-motivation
- Be capable of working effectively in a cross functional and virtual environment
