SUMMARY: The Senior Supervisor Maintenance Training is responsible for the planning and execution of the Maintenance Training Program, while aligning with our 5C culture! This includes coordinating and preparing training literature manuals systems and leading class instruction on the fundamentals of mechanical electrical pneumatic refrigeration and other job-related maintenance subjects; maintaining training aids student records and scheduling classes; performing maintenance orientation training for new maintenance team members; interfacing with appropriate vendors concerning training content and delivery; coordinating and leading safety training of the maintenance department; coordinating administering and assessing hands-on training requirements of maintenance personnel; performing other tasks as deemed appropriate by the Manager. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years industrial maintenance experience. Must be willing to complete Level 8 in the Tyson Foods Maintenance Training Program.
Computer Skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel & Word.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to successfully interface with all levels of the plant organization.
Travel:1-5 trips per year as the need arises for training, etc.
Special Skills: Proven good safety and attendance record along with strong management skills.
