Brown & Brown is seeking an Assistant Sales Professional for our team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Assistant Sales Professional to join our sales team. The Assistant Sales Professional will play a crucial role in supporting our sales efforts by assisting a senior sales staff member, engaging with clients, managing administrative tasks, and contributing to the overall growth of our business. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Support Senior Sales Staff: Collaborate with senior sales professionals to help achieve sales targets, develop client relationships, and enhance the overall sales process.
- Client Engagement: Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person meetings to understand their needs, provide information about products/services, and address any inquiries or concerns.
- Sales Administration: Assist with administrative tasks such as reviewing sales proposals, quotes, contracts, and other documentation as needed.
- Lead Generation: Contribute to lead generation efforts by identifying potential clients, conducting market research, and qualifying leads to pass on to senior sales staff.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and stay updated on industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales activities, and other relevant information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Sales Support: Provide sales team with necessary support including creating sales reports, analyzing data, and assisting with sales presentations.
- Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build a network of contacts that can contribute to sales growth.
- Customer Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business and referrals.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other teams to align strategies, share insights, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced work environment.
