Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to attain the goals of the board and shareholders

Position Summary:

This role is the global leader responsibility for Service Desk, Deskside Support and End user device asset management/life cycle for all regions including North America, Asia, India and Europe. This role is responsible for leading a distributed global team, internaltional travel required to visit different Lam sites (1-3 times/quarter)

Job Responsibilities:

• Set and seeks to continually improve and reinforce the service standards for end user support and assest management.
• Establishes benchmarking for end user support. Identifies/implements improvements for service level, user satisfaction and KPIs.
• Escalation point for complex or longstanding support issues.
• Provides guidance and professional development to team members. Foesters a positive and collaborative team culture.

• Leads and oversees the planning, execution and completion of operational and continous improvement projects within the IT support domain.

Job Requirements:

• BA, BS, or MS in Computer Science, IS/IT, or equivalent with 8-10 years of related experience and 5+ years in management
• ITIL certifications are desired
• Experience with ServiceNow (Incident management and Asset management) highly preferred.
• Experience with managing global team with different language/culture background.

Job Responsibilities:

The unit shall provide research leadership and is responsible for the planning, execution and securing of funds and resources for social research development projects that will advance, strengthen and translate into organisation’s programmes, practices and services.

The Assistant Director will lead the unit to undertake social research and data analytics, provide technical advice on research scoping and methodology, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and partners in the social research community, provide supervision and build up the research expertise of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish the unit as a leading and progressive social service research outfit
• Plan and manage research and studies agenda on current and emerging social service topics relevant to the organisation’s mission
• Cultivate a network of stakeholders and partners in the social research community to facilitate information sharing, seek out emerging social trends or national/international benchmarks and to adopt best practices in research and translation
• Engage internal social service centres to understand and prioritize opportunities for research
• Formulate and sharpen research guidelines and processes to safeguard ethics and to deliver projects with efficiency and impact
• Plan and manage research budget and resources
• Builds research capabilities by guiding and mentoring the team to deliver the research and studies agenda
• Manage research knowledge, publication and sharing
• Communicate and promote understanding of research topics and how they translate into actual programmes and services
• Consultative role to national policies and agendas related to family and social service

Job Requirements:

• Masters/Degree/Professional Qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Business Administration or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing a team in social-related research or programme development
• Possess strategic and analytical abilities
• Possess good interpersonal skills to forge collaborative relationships across a wide spectrum of stakeholders
