We are looking for a full-time enthusiastic and dynamic Medical Secretary for our Trauma and Orthopaedic Admin Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with already proven secretarial experience, given that Medical Secretaries in this department are senior staff within the Admin Team. However, those with appropriate experience in a senior administrative role would be considered.

The Trauma and Orthopaedic Department is fast paced, with over 40 Consultants running a busy Elective and Trauma Service for the local and surrounding areas.

The post holder must have excellent organisational and communication skills as liaising with patients, colleagues and other departments is an essential part of the role. Investment in a Coventry and Warwickshire wide Children’s Bladder and Bowel Service has created exciting opportunities for Children’s Bladder and Bowel Care Nurses.

This exciting post will be part of team who are passionate about delivering holistic support within a community setting, to maximise the child or young person’s independence and quality of life with bladder and bowel dysfunction.

You will work in collaboration with Community Children’s Nursing Team, Special School Nursing and Universal Services including Health Visiting, School Nursing, Education, Acute Services, Social Care and Allied Health Professionals.

You will use local and national guidelines for continence to perform continence reassessments for CYP with bladder and/or bowel symptoms in a range of school, community, and clinic settings. You will have continuing responsibility for the assessment, implementation, and evaluation of health care programmes for CYP within a defined caseload.

There will be one full time post. Flexible working arrangements will be considered.

To be a member of the Children’s Bladder and Bowel team; delivering clinical care under the direction of the registered nurse.

We are developing a new team to work with patients who have mental health needs with associated forensic risks.

The team supports individuals with a history of being in prison or secure services and doing preventative work for those at risk of prison or secure services due to their mental health.
