Reponsibilities:
A. Material, Labor Planning and Control
- Develop plan, execute and monitor production flow and progress.
- Establish daily, weekly and monthly targets for production floor.
- Coordinate closely with production workers, warehouse, material preparation team and purchasing team to fullfill material and inventory optimization levels, JIT (Just In Time).
- Monitor, analyze and report performance of production based on their efficiency and effectiveness.
- Address and overcome production problems including liaising with other departments to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Maintain facilities, equipments and machinaries uptime and availability.
- Maintain and control production floor cleanliness and tidiness.
- Maintain proper filing and recording for all production activities.
- Maintain good discipline and morale of workers and ensure workers are in compliance with safety and health regulation and requirement.
- Ensure the quality of the products.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
B. Resource Allocation
- Plan, execute and monitor the allocation of labours, machineries, tools, equipments and other related resources to maximize productivity and ensure smooth operations.
- Observe, learn and equipped with basic machineries, tools and equipments operating knowledges.
C. Reporting
- Prepare, maintain and update daily, weekly and montly reports.
- Study, analyze, compare and evaluate between actual and forecast of material and resource planning.
- Foster continuous improvement by reviewing material planning regulary and make necessary adjustments in response to production issues, performance metrics and changing conditions.
Requirements:
- Possess minimum Diploma, Bachelor's degree in any related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years related working experience.
- Experience in using ERP software (Added advantage).
- Experience in directing and supervising production personnel (Added advantage).
- Experience in driving forklift (Added advantage).
- Languages required: English, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Skills required: Basic skills in Microsoft office especially in Excel and Slides.
- Possess full E driving license (Added advantage).
- High sense of responsibility.
- High commitment in leading and driving continuous improvement.
- Good in teamwork, interpersonal and communication skill.
- Sharp attention to details in identifying defects and problems.
- Highly committed-Able to work overtime to meet production schedules.
- Self-driven- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Result-oriented- Commited to getting things done in proper and timely manner.
- Willing to learn.
