• Leads third party seller’s on-boarding and off-boarding, as well as contract & distributor management across ASEAN. Build the overall channel excellence framework as appropriate to work with distributors & Logistic providers.
• Support the annual strategic and business planning processes, including long range strategic planning, support budgeting processes, and growth acceleration plans. Project manage long term growth initiatives from project plan towards implementation.
• Support commercial teams to build compelling cases for investment based on data and strategic rationale.
• Support the commercial team pre- and post- launch to plan, execute, and operationalize GTM strategies through key frameworks, processes, and best practices.
• Develop/Implement management dashboard for leadership team KPI tracking, insight generation and recommend improvements to resolve business problems. Perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of business issues and the development of business specific solutions.
• Develop ASEAN specific insights (external) on trends and indicators to advise on strategies, tactics and market models to form recommendations on strategic opportunities.
• Track, analyse and communicate critical business KPIs and metrics around new product launches, sales and profitability and monitor progress against strategic plans.
• Collaborate with Commercial Leadership and enabling functions (regulatory, finance, legal, compliance, etc.) to drive business improvement.

What will you need to be successful?

Success in the role will require a combination of technical knowledge, soft skills, and a deep understanding of both the business and service-providing sides of an organization. Successful candidates would need the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Commercial Excellence, Channel management, management consulting, and/or corporate strategic planning or Business development.
• Knowledge of the medical device industry, deep understanding of healthcare systems in key markets in ASEAN markets.
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence direct reports. Demonstrated capability to quickly establish relationships and credibility at all interpersonal levels.
• Comfortable working in a demanding, fast paced environment, prioritizing multiple priorities and working within ambiguity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Curate and maintain the station's library of music to fine-tune and refresh music database to ensure station relevance.
• Prepare and schedule daily music playlists for all timebelts.
• Researching new music and keeping up with the trends, as well ensuring music played on station adheres to IMDA rules and regulations in terms of suitability.
• Ensure commercial logs, recorded shows, syndicated shows etc are integrated properly for a seamless on-air output.
• Brainstorm and/or initiate music-related promos (on-air) for station with programming team.
• Work closely with Creative Producer for station imaging (trailers, liners and jingles) and which is to be refreshed these once a year as well as ad-hoc station trailers.
• Provide input and lead/assist in music research projects as required.
• Establish a good working relationship with music label partners, concert promoters, key partners.
• Support/coordinate on air/in person interviews for live/pre-recorded interviews with agencies, label partners, internal stakeholders, clients etc.
• Monitor music charts (Spotify, Apple Music, Billboard, UK charts) as well as social media to ensure station is playing the latest, most up to date songs.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma/Degree Holder in a relevant field eg.broadcasting, media, music.
• Tech savvy, meticulous and diligent.
• Passionate to make the station sound the best that it can be.
• Must have a passion for music and have keen knowledge & interest of music trends and artistes.
• Must be familiar with songs through the eras of the 80s, 90s, 2000s, 2010s and current hits.
• Knowledge of Zetta/ProTools is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be able to work well with tight timelines.
• Must be able to commit to station events which may happen on weekends.
• Prior experience in the broadcast, music, radio, audio streaming services is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement station format and programme strategies by reviewing listener trends and matching them with the broad directions approved by management.
• Ensure the achievement of agreed station ratings objectives by monitoring performance on a regular basis.
• Ensure the quality and appropriateness of radio stations' content by overseeing and driving content and supervising station's music selection/rotation, programme elements and promotions to ensure high quality control of station format.
• Grow the listener base by developing innovative and creative programmes that appeal to listeners. Keep up to date on industry knowledge of the market as well as listeners' profiles, lifestyles and preferences, by reviewing trends and market developments and understanding their implications on Mediacorp Radio business unit.
• Maintain and enhance professional competence thru training and development, mentoring, coaching, as well as providing constructive feedback for the team regularly through air checks and programme post-mortems.
• Work with Sales, Partnerships & Events and Digital departments to increase and facilitate airtime and sponsorship commitments on the station, while maintaining high programming standards
• Adhere to compliances to policies and rules by monitoring the team's compliance with programming codes on a regular basis and taking corrective actions where appropriate.

• Degree with minimum 5 years' broadcasting / media experience.
