As the Export Freight Administrator, you will be responsible for end to end export coordination to include handling export inquiries, confirming information with your clients and service providers, preparing/lodging all export documentation, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in Cargowise (system) and raising relevant invoices (charges). Your lines of duties will include collating export document, bookings with shipping lines, organizing movement of cargo, client invoicing, etc. The role will encompass the following responsibilities:
*Manage the necessary documentation for the efficient and legal execution of import and export activities.
*Consolidation preparation.
*Update in the computer systems with manifesting data in accordance with shipper's instructions
*Input data into the EDI management system.
*Check and verify Bill of Lading/invoice print.
*Resolve cargo reporting discrepancies with Customs department.
*Collaborating with the Accounting team to resolve discrepancies with Operations invoicing matters.
*Maintenance of cargo security and appropriate records.
*Provide documentation,reporting and quotations to customers.
*Play a key role in customer implementation,development and retention,actively managing own customer accounts,providing quality customer service.
*Build and maintain strong, professional working relationships with customers to support development of new and additional business streams.
Candidate Requirements

As the Freight Forwarding Administrator, you will be working within a close and supporting team environment within the Export department. Overall, you will be providing your assigned clients base guiding them through a seamless shipping and logistics process and be the link between both internal departments and external service providers.
The role will include handling export shipments for all LCL clientele, from freight bookings, allocations to final delivery and cargo receival to clients overseas.
Duties will entail and involve the following role process:
The candidate
The ideal candidates would have a proven track record of some 2-3 years of freight operations experience in handling exports sector, including recent experience with an export operations role within forwarding or with a co-loader. In this connection, candidate with strong understanding of international shipping and also domestic transport will be highly advantageous to fill this role.
The successful candidates for this role will require excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate and accurate comprehend information is imperative as you will liaise with a variety of stakeholders to collectively produce the desired outcome for the business clients.
