Our HR Business Partners are a critical link between HR and OD and the wider organisation and provide expert advice and support to departments in relation to matters such as HR data analysis, people-related matters contributing to service operations, service redesign and review.

We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner to support our department which provides the following services:-

• Road and Infrastructure Services

As an HR Business Partner you will:-

• Support designated services to achieve their performance objectives by acting as internal consultant providing and coordinating appropriate HR and OD support and advice
• Lead and manage the roll out of corporate / organisational change projects
• Contribute to the development, review and evaluation of HR and OD Policies, procedures and frameworks, taking a lead role where appropriate

You will be, or will be eligible to be, a Chartered Member of CIPD who can clearly evidence your experience of developing positive partnerships, leading HR review projects and analysing and presenting complex data in a local government setting or similarly large and complex organisation. We operate hybrid working arrangements and consequently this post will require an element of attendance at meetings and team activities in Lochgilphead and other locations in Argyll and Bute, therefore the successful applicant will require to evidence how they would achieve this.

A local authority in Maidstone are recruiting for an Accommodation Resource Support Officer to support within the homelessness and temporary accommodation teams.

The Role
The focus of this Accommodation Resource Support Officer role is to provide an effective and professional customer orientated service to people experiencing housing difficulties and provide effective operational and administrative support to the Accommodation Resource Team across the three strands of the team, 1) Home finders 2) temporary accommodation bookings and moves and 3) the direct lets via the housing register plus supporting the wider Housing and Inclusion team.
This will include making telephone calls to applicants to gather information, making third parties enquiries, writing letters, completing referrals, taking notes, responding to emails, and updating applicant records.

The Candidate
To be considered for this Accommodation Resource Support Officer role, you must be able to communicate to homeless households, both face-to-face and over the telephone including the ability to consider what type of service and/or accommodation would be most suitable for them and explaining how the process of temporary accommodation works, in line with relevant legislation.

The Contract
This Accommodation Resource Support Officer is a full time role, working 36 hours per week. The role is hybrid, allowing for two days working from home per week. The contract is for an initial 3 months, though this has a good chance of being extended or made permanent.

Job Descriptions:

As a proactive and organized data specialist, you will work with HR Business Partners and other stakeholders to understand the business deeply, through data analysis, research, interviews and other methods to proactively identify and predict strategic issues and come up with feasible recommendations to the stakeholders. Work effectively in a complex, global, fast-paced matrixed environment, filled with tight deliverable timeframes and multiple stakeholders.

A) Analytics Business Partnering

• Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders to uncover opportunities to leverage data and enable the successful delivery of reports, dashboards & analytics.
• Establish and iterate our HR analytics approach to business problems via advanced analysis and understanding the data infrastructure and products
• Interpret and present data insights to stakeholders to drive data-informed business decisions
• Lead HR data and metrics projects to create impactful measures and indicators for organization improvement and optimization

B) Advanced Analytics & Research

• Design and develop data models to support forward looking HR initiatives with predictive analytics to forecast, evaluate and analyze various business problems and objectives
• Establish a scientific and systematic analysis model and methodology by combining market research, data and theory for high impact HR analysis

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Salary:

• Up to $5,500 (depending on experience)

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in HR analytics, business analytics, organization research or organisational psychology
• Rich experience in data analysis, analytics data models, data warehousing, data product management
• Proficiency in using mainstream data analysis and visualization tools eg SQL, Tableau, Python, Qlikview, PowerBI
• Experience in partnering with a variety of different HR and business stakeholders, excellent communication skills and ability to influence others. Good at storytelling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to derive valuable insights and make data-driven decisions Internal
• Strong team player with curious and research oriented mindset to explore and tackle business problems with HR data
