Job Purpose
You will assist with the successful implementation of IFRS 17 for the Group as a key member of the IFRS 17 project team, by contribution of Actuarial expertise and information.
The Job
· Provide technical guidance and Group oversight for the implementation of IFRS17 across entities;
· Work closely with production team for the finalisation of IFRS 17 parallel run results;
· Translate IFRS 17 technical requirements into system and business requirements;
· Involve in the Group-wide design / implementation of target operating model for IFRS 17 as well as end-to-end solutions from Prophet to accounting systems;
· Review model results and implement changes to Prophet/DCS for IFRS 17 purpose;
· Conduct end-to-end testing on Actuarial systems for IFRS17 purpose; and
· Support the audit of IFRS 17 methodology and results
· Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
· Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
· Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
Our Requirements
· Good progress in Actuarial examinations from a recognized International Actuarial body;
· At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in actuarial field, practical experience in IFRS 17 is preferred;
· Familiar with Singapore RBC regulations and / or IFRS 17 is an advantage;
· Excellent communication and organisation skills;
· Excellent technical, analytical, and problem solving skills;
· Proactive in initiating and leading discussion with various stakeholders including senior management; and
· Highly proficient at Actuarial software such as Prophet and DCS.
· High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork. //
· Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
