Requirements:

• Minimum an Engineering Degree with minimum over 8years of relevant Aerospace Component Manufacturing, Machining or Metal Fabrication Industry background.
• Strong knowledge in multiple axis CNC machining, heat treat, brazing, stamping, and NDT processes is required.
• Prior Aerospace industry experience will be highly sought after.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deal with a diverse cultural workforce is a must.
• Strong technical problem solutioning skills and communications skill is needed to communicate across stakeholders at all levels.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Engineering Solutions Manager

What we seek to accomplish together:

• Participate in sales calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and/or via WebEx etc, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how NCS Engineering can address their business needs.
• Able to conduct the aviation solution POC for the clients
• Design end-to-end IT solutions that encompass applications, infrastructure, data, and security while considering regulatory compliance and industry standards.
• Possess demonstrable skills in customer-centric selling and a proven track record using it to help drive sales revenue
• Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences
• Work independently and as a vital member of a sales team
• Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches to develop business
• Ensure successful on-site and remote product evaluations (POCs) and support the post-sale team when necessary
• Able to learn the new & emerging technologies in short turn around, able to present & solution new & emerging technologies depending client needs
• Stay current with aviation industry trends, regulations, and technologies, ensuring that the IT solutions address specific aviation challenges and opportunities.

A little about you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 - 8 years of experience working in a pre-sales capacity related to Engineering/IT, preferably in the Aviation industry
• Has at least 3 years’ experience in designing, implementation of engineering/IT solutions
• Familiar with Aviation regularity compliance is a plus
• Strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner. Set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives
• History of creating rapport with customers, from line technicians to line and mid-level managers
• Sectorial knowledge like Singapore Government, Transport and Financial is a plus

Job Description

• Lead engineering team on various work streams to ensure smooth operations of systems and production
• Ensure the team adheres to strict timelines set and deliver
• Lead and perform controlled tests on various feed stock types
• Lead studies on outputs by systems – i.e. quality of syngas and biochar, energy regeneration etc.
• Lead system design and optimization, and compliance with local and international regulations
• Lead and review Hazard and Operability Analysis (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification Study (HAZID) in all system implementations
• Responsible for Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and operation manuals
• Support system installations and operations as required
• Pioneer R&D efforts
• Support other tasks as directed by the management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
• Candidates with 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge in pyrolysis, syngas and biochar (good to have)
• Hands-on personality, and able to work on the ground operating/fixing the systems
• Good knowledge on simulation using Aspen HYSYS
• Experience setting up or running a plant will be preferred
