SUMMARY
Assist and support the Operations department within Pierce Manufacturing. Develop process improvements within Manufacturing. Participate in daily production meetings. Work with other Supervisors to resolve assigned tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in the direct activities of production management personnel.
2. Work with the Operations department to introduce, promote, and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and improve efficiency.
3. Promote growth of ISO procedures and standards.
4. Utilize value stream mapping to analyze and improve material flow and eliminate waste.
5. Assist in the assurance of quality and accuracy of customer order fulfillment.
6. Assist in the continuous improvement techniques including Continuous Improvement events and 5S.
7. Assist in leadership assignment and duties according to supervisor’s needs.
8. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is currently recruiting candidates for our Branch Operations Support College Internship program which will be located at our Live Oak Administrative Service Center. The intern selected for this position will be introduced to the daily business and membership needs supported by our back-office Branch Operations Department. In addition, the intern will complete competitive product and market research, assist with department projects and support the needs of the RBFCU branches in the San Antonio Region.
Within the duration of the internship, each student will meet regularly with their RBFCU mentor to receive guidance, support, and feedback. Each intern will receive a final evaluation to assess their performance, review goals, and discuss developmental needs. In addition to practical on-the-job training, interns will be challenged with assignments relevant to credit union business needs. Based on several key factors, interns may be considered for program extensions or offered full-time employment upon graduation.
