Job Responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation and PO follow-up; especially resolving conflicts in materials purchases until Goods are received and accepted in good conditions or meeting the required specifications.
- Provide procurement support to tender preparation and execution of projects in ensuring budget are well-controlled while meeting delivery lead-time requirements.
- Administrate the issuance of Letter of Acceptance/ Agreement to Suppliers or Vendors.
- Administrate pre-qualification form for New Suppliers or Vendors.
- Responsible to source for New Suppliers or Vendors and manage cost saving & cost reduction initiative; in both Local and Overseas.
- Solicit competitive quotations per requirements with negotiations with suppliers for contracts, favourable commercial terms and conditions, and pricing (e.g. quality standard, price and delivery lead-time).
- Responsible for executing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead-time requirements.
- Identify purchasing risks and concerns.
- Build strong relationship with Suppliers and Vendors to ensure optimal support.
- Handle other QS duties as and when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Min. diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Business or equivalent disciplines.
- Candidate with 5-8 years of relevant working experience in Commercial Interior Design will be preferred.
- Strong proficiencies in MS Office applications (Excel, Words, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience in ERP software like IFS, SAP or Oracle is advantages.
- Strong interpersonal and communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Highly organised and detail orientated.
- Must be able to be multi-task.
- Highly customer-oriented and self-driven individual with hands-on ability
- Able to work in fast-paced environment.
