You must be highly skilled with human factors and ergonomics research, applied cognitive research and human-machine integration design. Successful candidates should have a solid foundation in designing medical device experiences and well versed with appropriate standards including IEC 62366-1 and -2, ANSI/AAMI HE75 and FDA guidance on Applying Human Factors and Usability Engineering to Medical Devices. In this role you will be responsible for driving human factors across a wide range of projects and must be comfortable conducting human factors research to understand user needs and use-related risk analysis to inform the design of research and clinical products. Supporting and/or leading usability risk analyses as well as planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting on formative, summative usability studies and final human factors use validation and human factors task knowledge studies is an integral part of the work. The estimated base salary range for the Sr. Human Factors Engineer (Onsite) role based in the United States of America is: $115,800 - $173,800. Defines strategy for HR Services support of Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures and Outsourcing (MADO) and leads MADO support activities. Accountable for HR data privacy, risk and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provides support and processes HR activities such as pre-hire check/hiring in HR system, new-hire pre-on boarding, onboarding activities, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, termination of employment, etc. 
• Initiates, reviews, and approves daily HR System transactions ensuring compliance with policies and procedures/Prepare HR related legal documents (i.e. employment letter, employment contracts, job change addendums, document related to Termination etc.) 
• Manages employee records (including electronic files and ensures information is accurate and up-to-date) and supports audits, government surveys and reporting 
• Identifies trends based on data analysis and recommends areas for process improvements
• Contributes to educating HR generalists, people managers and employees on practices and tools to encourage them to resolve issues on their own through HR Systems and platforms
• Provides coaching and guidance on HR processes. 
• Provides orientation to new hires and delivers trainings for new processes, programs and platform rollouts.
• Ensures exceptional service by promptly and accurately responding to questions by HP employees via HR platform where country specific HR knowledge or solutions are required and updates knowledge database articles
• Supports projects including acquisition deals representing the HR Global Services organization as needed

Responsibilities :

• Facilitates recruiting process with hiring manager (sourcing, interviewing and selection).
• Establishes and maintains open communication with supervisors and managers in determining recruiting needs.

This position is responsible for assisting Resource Development Project Managers and Resource Development District Manager in all efforts related to land investigation, project justification, contract negotiation, permitting, and entitlements.

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Collect all permits, reclamation plans, draft and final EIR’s, leases, contracts, letters of understanding, and any other agreements between Granite and all third parties.

• Enter and scour documents for milestones and establish automatic notifications in GRPS.

• Conduct quarterly audits of those notifications to ensure they are being distributed to the proper individuals.

• Generate monthly status reports on all resource development projects.

• Conduct initial reviews of contracts and permits.

• Assist in market research.

Education

• Minimum Associate’s Degree in a related field.

Work Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a related field.

About Granite Construction Incorporated

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire process of staff and workers' training courses, including coordination between internal staff and training vendors, managing course registration and confirmation, conducting post-training evaluations, and maintaining training records and certifications.
• Support the updating and maintenance of internal Training policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), flow charts, training calendar, and training materials.
• Maintain and update training administration, staff records, training budget, and HR system.
• Assist in following up on mentorship, performance appraisal, and staff career planning progression, including activities and communication related to these processes.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal HR events, meetings, and staff engagement activities.
• Support the review and analysis of training reports and feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
