HP Retail and Industrial Solutions Business has a large and growing Android [portfolio for multiple Retail, Healthcare and Manufacturing use cases. Android is of increasing importance in market and HP is leading the industry by providing well designed, robust, built for purpose hardware with Android OS. This role is responsible for architecting our upcoming Android products. The Architect will lead the business and technical team creating long term strategy and building our next generation of products. Mobile and fixed products are in scope covering a wide range of use cases: Que busting, assisted selling, self-service, digital signage, AI, point of sale and others.
Responsibilities:
Android on ARM
Create a vision for HP Retail and Industrial Solutions Android hardware and develop a strategy for achieving the vision
Develop processor and peripherals requirements for future for Android products
Translate feature requests from Sales and Product Management into Engineering Specs.
Work with processor vendors to understand their portfolios and roadmaps
Work with ODMs to understand their capability and willingness to invest
Explore third party partners who can contribute to achieving the vision
Develop specific proposals for next generation products
Processor, memory, storage, Peripherals, Power distribution
Adaption of existing chassis to ARM solution
Understand and address customer pain points
Communicate the vision, the strategy and the plan to broad and varied audiences
HP management, Cross functional teams inside HP, ODM and implementation partners, Customers
Be the recognized ARM subject matter expert in Advanced Computing Group.
Work with the execution team throughout the development process to overcome obstacles to success.
Future Technologies
Work with Technology and Architecture teams across HP to identify technologies which deliver value to Retail and Industrial solutions customers.
Turn new technology ideas into compelling proposals for products.
Build Proof of Concepts to test and develop ideas.
Articulate the end to end ecosystem necessary for success.
Create excitement for the possibilities of new technologies.
Mentor the more junior members of the HP EE community
Create new IP for HP leading to business value.
Knowledge & Skills:
EE best practices in ARM board development
Architecting and delivering Android/Arm products
Evaluating technology opportunities for customer value
Evaluating partner capabilities and ability to work with HP

The Technical Customer Assurance Manager will increase customer satisfaction by providing superior post-sales technical support for PC’s covering primarily Nordics clients.
To be successful in this role, a Technical Customer Assurance Manager should have excellent PC technical skills and knowledge, as well as interpersonal skills. Ultimately, a good Technical Customer Assurance Manager is tech-savvy, analytical, and well organized.

Job specifics/responsibilities:
Technical Customer Assurance Manager (TCAM) role:
Providing after-sales. technical support to customers
Answering product-related queries in a timely manner.
Maintaining customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Identifying hardware and software solutions.
Troubleshooting technical issues (HW / SW / Network)
Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.
Supporting the roll-out of new hardware
Providing support in the form of procedural documentation.
Working in a collaborative and a cohesive manner with key HP business units the TCAM works across functions to lead solutions for customer problems, provides installed base performance data and analysis, proactive information including advisories and pre-alerts with the goal to maximize systems up-time and reduce services and incident rates.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors requiring deep knowledge of HP PCs environments.
Performs root cause analysis of technical issues that drive support inefficiencies and develop actions and plans to reduce their impact at the account level.
Responsible for the success of large deployments on commercial accounts.
Deliver technical trainings to Customer IT department.
Education (degree) and professional experience required:
Technical Degree in computer science
Wide understanding of standard post-sales support processes with proven experience in PC technical support.
Experience in virtual team environment
Track record of direct customer interaction and successful problem resolution
Other requirements:
Fluent in Swedish and English
All other languages would be a real differentiator.

Description -
A great opportunity has arisen, for a sales and customer focussed, technical consultant (TC) to join HP’s Global Service and Solutions business. The key function of the role is to provide professional technical advice and consulting on both HP and non-HP Personal systems compute technology. The consultant must be able to understand client's requirements and transform them into HP or HPs/partner capabilities.
2. Objectives
You will work within virtual teams to provide technical consulting, design, proof of concept & delivery handover, of focussed technology solutions to HP customers. This will often be via a direct route to market but also via our channel network. This will result in, contractual and revenue growth, software and factory services business and attracting new customer to HP Managed Solution Services
3. Responsibilities/Activities
Presales activities:
Consult with HP’s customers and channel partners and their customers on the breadth of technology solutions and services to create better business outcomes.
Scope customer requirements and align relevant technologies to customer/partner business needs.
Create high quality, technically advanced and financially aligned propositions for our customers.
Present to multiple areas of the customers business e.g. Procurement, Security, IT and to C Level
Provide input on technical project plans for build and roll out.
Conduct solutions plan, design and test activities
Manage relationships with any 3rd party solution/application partners.
Provide technical escalation management through to HP Global Business Unit/3rd parties.
Review/Seek approval from 3rd Party Solutions on design/integration.
Consult on PS management solutions into Microsoft Intune or modern management platforms.
Work on customers/partners sites when required for Proof of concepts or meetings.

Education and Experience Required:

Experience in the below areas is beneficial -
Experience in software, infrastructure, and integration
Experience in Device management SCCM/MS Intune and co-management
Experience in Security
Experience in outsourcing, managed services and professional services
Industry qualifications relevant to role, in-house or industry body i.e. MS MD100 & MD101
Knowledge and Skills Required:
·Core compute technical knowledge including, Imaging, Deployment, and ongoing Management.
Consultative approach
Technical market knowledge and competitive knowledge
Microsoft: Windows Servers, SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, Windows 7/10/11.
Experience of Thin client, Workstations, VDI and RPOS – Preferable
Native Dutch speaker with a good grasp of English
