The Principal Program Manager (PPM) - Vertical Transportation is a subject matter expert (SME) reporting to the Senior Principal Program Manager (SPPM) – Facilities Support. This position develops and implements strategic programs designed to maintain Whole Foods store vertical transportation (VT) systems operating continuously and flawlessly. VT systems include, but are not limited to elevators, escalators, moving walkways, dumbwaiters, service elevators and cartveyors. Programs include design standards for new construction, modernization support, emergency repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and jurisdictional compliance. This position will be based out of the WFM Northeast Area Operational Support Office located in Jersey City, NJ and applicants who are able to relocate will be considered. This position may require up to 40% travel or more dependent on project needs.
Responsibilities:
The role involves the development and implementation of effective Vertical Transportation (VT) programs in collaboration with the SPPM – Facilities Support and Senior Team Leaders of Facilities Maintenance Operations. This includes designing standards, providing modernization support, emergency repairs, planned preventative maintenance, and ensuring jurisdictional compliance. Additionally, the responsibility extends to conducting VT program training for day-to-day facilities Repair and Maintenance (R&M) field execution teams, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, and maintaining an understanding of relevant ASME or ANSI standards. Job Description Summary
Whole Foods Market is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our Store Development team responsible for program support which includes management of technology systems which support repairs & maintenance at all WFM physical site locations. In this role, you will support a wide range of store development & operations disciplines and coordinate all aspects of system-specific projects involving software enhancements, data management, and custom reporting as well as non-system projects supporting team initiatives. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD). As a Machine Learning Researcher, you can turn these complex data sets into useful information to solve global challenges. Across private and public sectors from fraud detection to cancer research, to national intelligence, you know the answers are in the data.
You'll design and implement machine learning solutions for complex tasks on large datasets, including extracting insights from multiple disparate data sources and types, such as cyber, language, and vision. You'll perform research in machine learning, including adversarial machine learning, algorithmic fairness, and model interpretability. You'll write journal articles, present at academic conferences, and produce whitepapers and briefings to both technical and non-technical audiences. You'll serve as the client interface and maintain responsibility across the entire life cycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, process and systems definition, data analysis, presentation of analysis to clients in a format they can digest, and development of algorithm driven products and solutions.
