As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the strategizing, planning, development and implementation of marketing activities and campaigns for the events, with the core KPIs of delivering good and quality attendance and attendees’ experience.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and execute brand communications strategies and marketing plans for the events, as well as result-driven marketing promotions campaigns
• Develop marketing and client engagement strategies and initiatives for the Asia region to enhance Events awareness, drive sales and grow market share. Then work hands-on with members of the Marketing team to deliver each initiative on the marketing calendar
• Develop regional digital and social media strategies in line with event branding guidelines and campaigns, leveraging local insights and influencers to build brand awareness 
• Work closely with key stakeholders to gather audience and commercial insights, develop a data driven POV on what motivates our buyers, and execute effective, measurable marketing campaigns
• Track responsible budgets and investments, ensuring budgets are managed in a timely manner and evaluate effectiveness and relevant performance metrics
• Support competitive benchmarking and provide data-driven insights and best practices for strategic planning;
• Manage content, social media, creative and marketing agencies and suppliers for identifying market opportunities and delivering aligned impacts
• Works closely and collaboratively with the Event and Sales team to plan and execute the event’s entire marketing campaign. 
•  Work with trade media and partners such as trade associations to extend promotional reach
• Onsite event management including but not limited to
  • Pre-registration and onsite registration
  • Supervision of survey temps to ensure quality insights are captured
  • Obtaining exhibitor and visitor quotes

The Sales position is responsible for revenue generation from new and existing customers. This role will manage Sales to different tier customers depending on the market and brand context.  This team is critical to the business, as the key to our success is retention, growth and cultivating new business

The Sales role will involve a combination of internal and external sales activity, meeting customers face to face and attending competitor events. He/ She will sell to valued existing customers, generate new business, and performance will be evaluated based on achieving revenue and new business targets

The Sales will be expected to develop their awareness of the brand industry, building greater insight over time. Maintaining and strengthening the relationship throughout the year is an important focus, to develop an understanding of the customers’ needs and expectations from their attendance at the event. He/ She will understand the customers’ needs and articulate a compelling value proposition as part of the sale. They will have a significant role in supporting re-booking of customers at an Event.

Job Responsibilities:

• Meet or exceed revenue target for assigned accounts through sales (digital, booth, sponsorship/ advertisement and fully integrated packages)
• Sell to existing/ lapsed customer accounts with engaging conversations and compelling proposals while guiding them through buying process
• Prospect and close new business opportunities inside and outside of existing client base through cold calling and follow-up calling
• Leverage understanding of customer buying trends to help develop Sales plans and approaches
• Execute on assigned Sales campaigns, against accounts, products and revenue targets, in line with sales plan
• Support the on-site re-booking of existing customer accounts, in line with at event account allocation and sales targets
• Maintain accurate pipeline, sales activity and customer information within Salesforce (CRM system)
• Distribute customer insight and marketing information to marketing team
• Manage the handing over of sale information and customer requirements (via Salesforce) to the event Operations and Brand teams

• To undertake relevant sales and marketing activities in order to achieve pre-set targets.
• To be able to maintain existing customer revenue and identify opportunities and grow new potential customers in related industries.
• To follow up on any leads and general enquiries, dealing with them in a timely and efficient manner to turn into account.
• On a weekly basis, report on enquiries received, lapse & lost customers and newly developed target to sales leader.
• Timely and accurately input sales pipeline process through Salesforce (CRM system)
• Manage the capture and entry of Sales contract information into CRM/ invoicing system
• Support Finance in following up payment and resolving bad debt customers
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
• It is inevitable over time to time that the emphasis of this job will change, therefore this information will be periodically reviewed, revised and updated in consultation with the leader to reflect the appropriate changes
