Technical Responsibilities

• Ensures all modelling and draughting activities are completed within allocated schedule and budgeted hours. Efficiently and effectively manages multiple tasks independently and in a multi-disciplinary team. • Prepare material take-off (MTO) lists, cable schedules, loop diagrams, junction box termination drawings, instrumentation hook-up drawings and electrical power supply system for field instruments.
• Review of P&ID, project documents and vendor drawings or documents.
• Be responsible for technical correctness of own deliverables. Ensures output is completed on time, on budget, and exceeding quality standards.
• Assists in design reviews and participate in other discipline reviews as appropriate. Ensures incorporation of all cable tray layout-related review comments. Detailed review of drawings for scope and presentation, including checking of own and others’ work for technical accuracy and adherence to company standards.
• Adheres to and complies with design procedures and standards and provides constructive feedback for continuous improvement. Identifies potential applications for new processes and technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Ensures effective communication and interface between all disciplines for design and development.

Job Requirements

• Higher Nitec in Electrical Engineering or Offshore & Marine Engineering Design or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from an accredited college
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in designing of refinery, petrochemical, chemical, power or pharmaceutical plants.

KBR is looking for a Sr. Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to support projects under the Wilmington Operations Center. You will independently apply advanced engineering techniques, make decisions on engineering problems and methods, and represent the organization to resolve important questions or to negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations. You will provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers and is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for design for electrical systems and components for heavy industrial facilities in the Power, Chemical or Refinery industries

• Responsible for preparing design and detail drawings for installation of electrical systems and equipment including motors, controls, panels and wiring, starting and protective devices, substation and distribution circuits, and cable tray and conduit routing.

• Assist in conducting Electrical reviews of all project packages prior to RFC to ensure that quality procedures were followed.

• Review project design estimates and work scopes for new project

Required Education, Experience, & Skills ​

• 7 to 10 years of applicable industry electrical design experience within the chemical and industrial industry.

• Experience in working with and mentoring designers/team members.

• Experience in communicating job packages/projects with construction and plant personal.

• Experience in specifying vendor instrument equipment and reading vendor manuals.

• Have a working knowledge of the NEC Codes.

• Experience in voltage drop calculations, wiring sizing and conduit fill calculations.

• Experience in creating and modifying P&I diagrams, loop sheets, single lines, logics and electrical schematics.

• Experience in 24kV to 480-volt power distribution systems, lighting, schematic wiring diagrams, cable / raceway sizing, lightning protection and grounding required

• Experience in developing scopes of work, task analysis, material list and project schedules

• Proficiency with 2D MicroStation or AutoCAD is required.

• Experience in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc...) is required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes

• Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat and steel-toed boots

• Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs frequently, etc

• Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $123,400 -- $224,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Notre site Airbus Atlantic basé à Colomiers recherche son futur Designer Etudes Single Aisle & Acteur Process Qualification Pièces Elémentaires (All Gender). Vous rejoindrez une équipe de 10 personnes qui est en charge des Etudes et Projets sur la pointe avant du Single Aisle (famille A320).

Votre rôle dans cette organisation sera de :

Au sein du bureau d’études Airbus Atlantic, vous travaillerez sur le programme Single Aisle (famille A320) dans le service Projets Design sur les lots Tronçon 11, Tronçon 12, Barque 11/12.
Intégré à une équipe de designers, vous serez rattaché au responsable des projets localisé à Colomiers. 

Le titulaire du poste sera en charge de l'activité First Part Qualified (FPQ)  liée au Work Package 14A du Single Aisle (famille A320) réalisé par Léonardo. 
Le titulaire se verra également confié des activités d’études design sur les Work Package 11 et 12 (pointe avant) du Single Aisle (famille A320).

Vous serez en interface avec de nombreux interlocuteurs (manufacturing engineering, qualité, matériaux et procédés, stress, etc), et contribuerez à la réalisation d’études et à la formalisation des documents design liés au processus FPQ. 

Votre mission:

Vos missions principales consisteront à :

Process FPQs sur le lot 14A réalisé par Léonardo pour le Single Aisle.

• Vous devrez créer les CPPR (Capture of Product and Process Request) sur la base de documents fournis par de nombreux interlocuteurs et fournisseur.

• Vous devrez suivre vos activités en lien avec les priorités demandées par la Qualité/ et le programme (VSM).

• Vous devrez être proactif et relancer vos différents interlocuteurs afin de mener à bien la rédaction et le suivi de vos CPPR.

• Vous devrez participer et organiser les réunions nécessaires avec notre client Airbus Commercial et notre fournisseur Leonardo. 

• Vous serez responsable du suivi et de l'évaluation de la qualité de l'exécution des activités dessins FPQs.

• Vous participerez aux différentes réunions, Workshop dédiés à votre projet.

• Des activités d’études design sur les Work Package 11 et 12 (pointe avant) du Single Aisle (famille A320).

Les études pourront être réalisées sur une grande variété de zones plus ou moins complexes ainsi que sur des projets multiples (Design To Cost, amélioration produit, développement incrémental type XLR ou Step 4.1 etc…).
Pour chacune des analyses, vous devrez prendre en compte l’ensemble des études structure ou système en cours dans votre zone.

Vous devrez également prendre en considération les spécificités des maquettes en grande partie dites d’allocation d’espace du SA.
Afin de mener à bien votre travail, vous serez amené(e) à régulièrement échanger avec d’autres métiers tant Airbus Atlantic qu'Airbus Opérations, tels que le Stress, le Manufacturing Engineering, la Gestion de Configurations, le Tolérancement…
Vos études, dont parfois plusieurs devront être menées en parallèle, devront être réalisées dans un délai fourni par votre manager ou par le pilote du projet afin de répondre aux exigences industrielles du client.

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphics & Product Designer to become a valuable member of our team. In this role, you will take on the responsibility of conceptualizing, designing, and art directing various materials, including collateral, packaging, advertising, and sales materials, all of which should consistently and creatively embody our company's brand identity. Here's what's on the plate

• Conceptualize and represent the brand across various expressions within the brand identity framework.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to create collateral, promotional materials, and advertising pieces.
• Take the lead in project communication, including liaising with 3rd party vendors.
• Collaborate with the Sourcing and Planning Team to develop products, product packaging or print materials for products and verify color proofs for accuracy.
• Perform video editing and create simple animations.
• Assist in translation projects whenever required, specifically English and Chinese.
• Coordinate the printing, electronic publishing, and distribution of all regional internal and external collateral materials for various countries.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

What You Bring To The Table

• Minimum diploma in Art, Product, Creative Design, or related fields.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in the retail beauty or consumer industry.
• Proficiency in software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Dimension or 3D software, After Effects, PDF, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of digital pre-press and print production processes.
• Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese preferred as well, due to liaison with marketing team in China.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage project timelines effectively.
• Effective time management, workflow coordination, and scheduling to meet strict and sometimes aggressive deadlines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and find multiple design solutions, especially within narrow parameters or strict budget constraints.
• A good understanding of graphic art procedures, design principles, and adherence to graphic standards.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the Graphic Design team and communicate your own ideas clearly.

Hospitality Interior Designer/ Senior Interior Designer/ FFE Designer

We are searching for a dynamic, creative, and dedicated Hospitality Interior Designer to join our talented team.The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable and immersive experiences through innovative design concepts. As a hospitality industry designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop unique and engaging designs that enhance the guest experience and reflect the brand identity of our clients in the hospitality sector. Your principal duty will be to improve, make functional, and visually attractively design our facilities to provide our guests with a memorable hospitality experience.

Responsibilities:

· Conceptualize and develop interior design concepts for various hospitality projects including hotels, restaurants, resorts, spas, etc

· Create detailed design presentations, mood boards, and renderings to communicate design concepts effectively to clients and project stakeholders.

· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that design concepts are aligned with project requirements and feasibility.

· Research current trends, materials, and finishes relevant to the hospitality industry to incorporate innovative design elements into projects.

· Develop comprehensive design specifications, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and coordinate procurement and installation processes.

· Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing conditions and ensure that design concepts are implemented according to specifications and quality standards.

· Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design charrettes to gather feedback, address concerns, and refine design concepts throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements & Attributes:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field

· Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role

· Experience in project liaison is essential

· Proven experience in hospitality design

· Knowledge of building codes and interior design principles

· Excellent decision-making skills especially when under pressure

· Superior communication, presentation, project management, and leadership abilities

· Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
