Tudor Employment are recruiting a Transport Office Clerk for our client based in Essington, WV11. Due to the company location and working hours, you will either need to have your own vehicle or live very local.
You will join a vibrant and diverse team within a company operating in the logistics sector.
This is a full-time, temporary position which may lead to permanent for the right candidate.
Are you the right person for this role? Key attributes of the Transport Office Clerk are:
• Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
• Competency in the use of Microsoft Office applications – predominantly Excel
• Experience working in the Transport / Logistics sector would be advantageous, though not necessary
What will I be doing? Key duties of the Transport Office Clerk will include:
• Booking in vehicles
• Updating inhouse database
• Handling inbound queries received via email and telephone
• Administer data into Microsoft Excel
• Complete transport reports as required
• Assign keys and paperwork to colleagues
• Compile and complete administrative tasks
• Liaise with drivers and other transport colleagues
• Monitor goods arrivals and departures
• Other duties as assigned
What are the hours of work?
This is a full-time vacancy, working Monday-Thursday 19:00 – 02:00.
What is the rate of pay?
The Transport Office Clerk will be paid at a rate of £10.42 per hour.
