The Function:

To provide support to the Office Management Team and in ensuring a smooth running of the office and contributes in driving sustainable growth.

Key Accountabilities:

· Update and maintain the APPEC Schedule

· Prepare materials as needed for Internal Board Meeting

· Assist with company’s events management

· Preparing, organising, and storing information in paper and digital form

· Update incoming and outgoing courier in the tracker

· Manage procurement, inventory control and payment

· Manage contract operation, renewal, establish fresh subscription contract and payment

· During APPEC week to be stationed at Hotel to assist with daily meetings

. To assist on Executive Services Role and work closely with Office Manager to plan VIP Event in the Office, external Reception and any other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

· Undergraduate in a local university

· Preferred studies in business administration or other relevant backgrounds

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment

. Good team player and able to work collaboratively to achieve organisational outcomes and timelines

Summer Technical Intern Job Description

KBR’s global business comprises two main segments – Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) and Government Solutions (GS). This role sits within the Consultancy International team, which is part of the STS business unit.

KBR Consulting International draws on a heritage of over thirty-five years specialising in the front-end phases of engineering projects from pre-feasibility, up to and including preliminary Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phases. In addition, we undertake small FEEDs as well as providing specialist consultancy to later through to phases of projects. The front-end nature of the work means that we are often involved in developments in areas and technologies new to the engineering industry.

Primary Function:

The Technical Intern will work full-time for an agreed period (typically 8-10 weeks) during the University summer vacation within the Consultancy International technical team. The role will be located in KBR’s Leatherhead office.

The primary activity of the Intern will be to develop, progress and test Consultancy International technical software tools and databases, which are used as part of the group’s Consultancy activities.

Depending upon group workload and opportunity, the Intern may also support execution of Consulting studies.

KBR Leatherhead Internship is designed to provide the following:

Position Requirements:

Working towards or completing a relevant degree in Chemical Engineering (or closely related subject). Hence good basic understanding of chemical engineering principles and methods.

Ideally good knowledge of computer programming languages such as Python and PowerBI.

Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision and work well in a team environment when needed.

Good human relations skills are required.

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
