Iowa State University’s Department of Industrial Design is hiring an Assistant Professor in Industrial Design, specializing in User Experience (UX) Design. This hiring is part of the University’s Strategic Faculty Hires in Critical Areas initiative to accelerate the hiring of tenure-eligible faculty in critical areas of strategic importance to the university. POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate will maintain a strong record of scholarship, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, and engage in institutional service and service to the industrial design profession. Tenure-track faculty in the department typically teach four courses a year, offering a combination of studios, lectures courses and seminars.
